ECF Forum Issues

I use Firefox and here is a pic of what this forum looks like. (I am unable to post a pic at this time, I will figure it out and try later...OK update, I read up on uploading attachments and it says there is a paperclip for file uploads but it isn't here???)but the problem is that lines of type are overlaid on each other making them unreadable. I have the latest version of Firefox and it is updated. How can I fix this?

It appears attachments have been disabled for this forum. Upload it to a site like imgur.com and link from there.

like retired said, attachments are not allowed in this subforum but besides imgur.com you can use TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting or photobucket. just as long as you host your pic on an outside url ..............

what skin are you using? some are no longer supported by ecf - try ecf1 and see what happens

Some of the styles work fine on a PC in full screen mode. However, they're not designed to be used on portable devices or screen sizes smaller than 14". The darker styles are not "responsive" styles and do not view well on smaller screens (as you're finding out). I just tested all the styles on a 17" screen and they looked good. However, as soon as I made the browser window smaller, the darker styles started to look like what you posted an example of.

Log out of the forum, clear cookies and cache, then log in again. Does the issue persist?

I logged out, cleared cookies (ecf cookies) and cache and logged back in. Same issue.

Hold down the control key on your keyboard, and then scroll your mouse wheel towards you until the screen becomes "uncluttered".

Huh, I accidentally adjust my screen zoom occasionally and totally didn't think of that. Good catch
