ECF needs irc

Think about it we could chat in real time about problems,supply's,laws,ect.
What do you guys think or is there already a irc up and running and I just couldn't find it?

Not cheesy web based, java...bloated nasty things...

Problem is that most hosting servers do not support IRC, and some (if not most) specifically don't allow it.

Haha you don't have to use the java irc thing you can use a program but you are correct java irc sucks bad. Well they could just elevate the security of the irc to keep spammers off of it, use encryption and make them register with the same name as there username on the forums.
