Axiom- You are dead on. My wife tried everything, even hypnosis. Nothing. vaping is the first thing she feels comfortable with. Those who quit long ago forget the strangle hold those analogs have on you.

yeah, tobacco is loaded with some very nasty and addictive chemicals for sure .... I also tried everything and failed, that is until vaping came on the scene.

    Nice

Well I've written off the super tiny stuff as just impracticle for me. I'm a truck driver and vape constantly all day long. I've settled on this as my all day vape setup. Have 3 of the mods and refill 5 tanks every other morning. Fits comfortably in my shirt pocket and the backup mods and tanks are always within reach.

The mod is an Eleaf iStick Pico V1 75 watt (running@ 15w). Holds a 3000mah replaceable battery. The tank is sorta my own hybrid creation. Aftermarket Bellcap tank for a Kangertech Subtank Mini mounted on an eGo ONE Mega V1 base with CLR rebuildable coil. Holds 4ml of juice. Taken me most of 2 years to find perfection but this is it for me.

Foggy- Don't know if it's' a bs story, but guy at vape shop said I Care developed the aio's to compete with Juul. He said he started on Juul but was spending $15 a day on pods! So I care makes there's with little coils that are cheap. Then Aspire figures out if you put a decent coil on a mini, they have a winner.

Yes. That is probably an unlikely story. Eleaf developed the iCare to compete with the general trend towards small aio products that are gradually (hopefully?) killing off the cig-a-like market (if the public would just stop buying wretched prefilled cartomizer cig-a-likes and do some research).

Juul vapes at low power with very high nicotine. Most AIOs vape at medium power with medium-low nicotine.
Juul are out there on their own with a product nobody needed to make at a price nobody needs to be spending. Their end is guaranteed because eventually everybody turns to the internet for advice.
The Joyetech AIO is a slightly fragile short-medium term device although it vapes OK with the original 0.6ohm coil.
Joyetech messed up that coil range because the 'cup design (BF)' is far more reliant on the power (watts) than other designs. Not enough power = gurgles and floods. Too much power = burnt hits.
In truth, the 0.6ohm is too feisty on a freshly-charged battery and can burn.

The 0.6ohm is the pick of the bunch though. In a Cubis tank at the right power it's actually one of the very best and most reliable coils on the market. *It also got a thumbs up being a cleaner vaping atomizer along with Aspire BVC and even Kanger Subtank SSOCC.*

Not to mention, the nicotine Juul uses (I believe it's nic salts) can be obtained other places if someone adores that particular object. At.... well, let's just say I have enough nic salts to last me a lifetime for probably less than it would've cost me to vape a Juul for like, 2 months. Some people swear by them and if convenience, expensiveness and a sincere lack of desire to learn about e-cigs is your thing, then by all means. It's just a shame when ppl are like "I swear by my Juul" when you can replicate the effect without much effort and with gear that lasts far longer....

I do hope people turn to the internet, as I'm certain I'd go through 2-3 pods a day, at least in the beginning....

Wife and I are both 65. Lifetime smokers. Tried quitting multiple times. Met a vaping couple at a local Fest. They took the time to explain the basics to us. They said the most important key to newbies is finding the right vape shop. They were spot on. We've only been vaping a short while. Within 2 days went from pack a day each to 1/2. Now down to a few a day. I expect soon no more analogs.
    Welcome and glad you joined.
Pretty soon you may find you will be giving up nicotine altogether. Your doing well, congratulations.

Thanks. Thinking of moving up a little, but don't want to have to fiddle with controls yet. Looked at the Kanger Arymi Armor. Seems simple enuf. Searched this site but found no info, unless I spelled it wrong in the search.

That is a very unusual choice if you don't mind me saying. It bombed in the UK and in the end they had to give them away.
I think the totally strange coils (not working with other tanks) was the straw that broke the Camel's back.

You might be right. I'm just a newbie wading along. I was looking for a device that would hold 3 mil, have enough battery to last all day, and I'm not seasoned enough to want to fiddle with TC and power settings. I also liked the drop protection of that magnetic piece. Seemed like a decent choice for my next step. I'm prob way off. My wife and I love the Aspire Breeze, but she dropped it once on the floor and the tank cracked. Looking for a little more durability too. I agree the coil situation is weird and kind of expensive.

Tanks cracking is kind of not unusual if you drop your mod. If you want an aspire tank you can vape all day, get a Nautilus 2 it has an exterior metal housing. Not sure that it's compatible with your wife's mod, however, even though it's an aspire product (I briefly looked at its weirdness, and am figuring it's an all in one device?) The Nautilus 2 is also my favorite vape-quality tank ever, and it's adjustable in so many ways... Airflow, coils, etc. It's a great little tank I've dropped mine a few times with no damage.

Some people use those little silicone wraps (they're like a mini verson of the "Harmstrong" bracelets, if that makes sense,) and you can shove a few on a glass tank to help protect against damage. You can get them fairly cheap on Amazon. But again, I don't exactly know how that tank works... But, it didnt appeal to me on first glance...

Good luck there are some great single battery mods out there that are easy to cart around, too. You can always go with a starter kit, but you don't have to. You can mix and match to suit your preferences....

You're welcome .... I like to send newer folks to actual video reviews where they can SEE for themselves and make their own decisions without me providing any sort of biased input.... I have never owned that particular kit but from all that I have studied about it I don't see anything drastically wrong with the unit, especially for people, like yourself, who are new to vaping and desire quite a bit of vapor, and fair taste, all for a really good price.........

I did notice that the kit is not too swift for a mouth to lung inhaler....So, if you like vaping like you did when you smoked (probably mouth to lung) then the tank that comes with this kit is NOT for you...... If you are desiring to try your hand at direct inhaling, then this tank delivers a fairly good amount of vapor... This economy kit seems to be geared towards people who are getting away from smoking and want to step up a notch from a cig-a-like or similar product....

You say you don't want complicated units..... well, this particular kit is about as simple as it can get.... There is no airflow adjustments, wattage, or temperature adjustments......... Those facts would bother lots of people who vape but there are also lots of vapors who would not be bothered by those facts.... There are scores of vapors here who vape all day long on mechanical devices that have zero adjustments of any kind.... Of course, most of them are cloud chasers and desire lots of vapor that is fairly warm.... Just because a device is simple and has zero adjustments does not make it somehow inferior to other devices.... It's all a matter of personal preference... lots of folks who start out vaping could care less what they are using just so long as it helps them get away from the death sticks.... Then, after awhile they usually purchase mods/tanks that have adjustments because the adjustments help them to dial in to a vape that is the best and most suitable vape for their style of vaping....

So, the FIRST thing to consider when thinking about new hardware is to decide what vaping style you like....Do you like mouth to lung, or do you like direct inhale? Once you answer that question in your mind then a great majority of the tanks/atomizers on the market will be able to be eliminated from the pool to select from....

Also, since you are new to vaping, then I imagine that you will not be desiring to build your own coils/wicks as you stated that you like things simple for the time being..... That fact will also eliminate a bunch of tanks from your selection pool..... You should desire to get a tank that has factory built coils that you simply replace after 2 or three weeks of use...... So, the second thing you need to consider when purchasing a tank is to decide if you want one with factory built coils, or do you want the fancier tanks that allow you to build your own coils.... You must consider the fact that lots of folks who vape for awhile start building their own coils as it greatly reduces vaping costs because you no longer have to purchase factory coils all of the time, plus you can wind the coils to have the resistance you desire (within a restricted range)......... Many tanks on the market allow you to do both as you can either build your own coils or use factory built ones.... The Armor tank that you are looking at does not allow you to build coils with it....you would be limited to purchasing factory coils for it.... However, since you want things simple, then that is an option that lots of people choose as they do not want to build their own coils.

The third thing you need to consider is the mod.... You need a mod that is more powerful than the one you are currently using......... You also state that you want a simple functioning mod...... The Armor mod delivers on both of those assets........... That mod is about as simple as it gets as there is only one button and that is the fire button......... It has an LED screen that allows you to see the relative charge remaining in the battery.... If you do not want to fiddle with voltage/wattage adjustments then this mod is good for what you desire.... It has enough power to deliver a power to 0.3 ohm coil which produces quite a bit of vapor for people who have the style of direct lung inhaling.... You can even go lower and purchase 0.15 ohm coils which would produce a warmer vape along with even more vapor........

Personally, I prefer mods in which I can replace the batteries instead of having the batteries built into the mod.... It's just a weird quirk of mine and has NOTHING to do with the quality of a mod..... Lots of folks here who have vaped for a long time use mods that have internal batteries like the Armor has..... The problem with having removable batteries is that often you have to purchase a battery charger that is especially built to charge vaping batteries of various sizes..... Lots of people who vape do not want to mess with doing any of that....

I hope some of this help you to decide one way or the other about the Armor kit...... It's a good kit for a new vapor that desires to do DIRECT LUNG inhaling, is simple to fill and use, and has quite a bit of power..... However, if you do mouth to lung inhaling then my advice would be to select a different product.....

It all boils down to personal preferences but what makes things difficult for newer vapors is there are so many things on the market that they get confused and apprehensive when purchasing something.... If you ponder on the things I listed above then you should be able to select something that will fill your needs should you decide to not go with the Armor kit..... Keep reading and watching review videos if you are still unsure.

Thank you. Excellent post. For now we are enjoying the Aspire Breeze. Our vape shop can't keep them in stock. Went to replace my wife's with the broken glass, only 2 left

Sounds good. I'm not the biggest fan of Aspire (some of what they do) but they have proven time and time again to be superior to Kanger.
It's sad really... I can't find anything Kanger left that's really worthy.
Most of us were pretty much weaned on Evods, Protanks and Subtanks. Pity.
