This is coming from someone new to vaping and how I wound up with one (more on the horizon).

When I first came here, I made the logical first post, and had no clue what I wanted or what I was looking for. I think that post turned out to be somewhere around 7 pages long, with no mention of a REO. So when I made my first purchase, it was even in the running as I had no clue it even existed. Granted it probably wouldnt have won anyway, as I was looking for cheap as I didnt know if this was my end to my pipe or not. I wound up with a MVP2 and Vamo.

The MVP2 has never really fit my hand all that well, but I really liked the Vamo. After about a month, I got one of those Prothingies thats always talked about, heck everyone has one and loves it, must be the best there is. So I got one, honestly iy has never impressed me. I never posted that "I get it now" thread on the Provari forum, as I didnt get it.

So I decided I was going to try dripping, I bought a cheap mech mod (hcigar nemesis clone) and cheap RDA (phoenix). It was almost love at first toot. So much that I bought another drip setup. As much as I liked it, it was just a PITA having to fiddle with bottles and dripping all the time, but it provided me with the best vape I have ever had. That includes being better to me than the Kayfun 3.1 that I own.

1.5 months into my vaping experience, so I set out to learn more about dripping, and I ran into this device called a REOS. Looked cool, from best I could tell it was a dripping device, without all the hassle. Was a little concerned with the form factor since I dont like the MVP2 (I got big hands) but the dimensions on the website are ever so slightly thicker and wider than the MVP2 so I took the chance.

All I can say is, I am very glad I done it and I couldnt be happier!!!! Not sure if someone mentioning it earlier would have had any impact on me buying one or not, but it sure wouldnt have hurt. I didnt know a REOS existed till mid December and I bought one Jan. 3. Price early on would have probably been a detractor as I was looking for cheap, but it would have been something for me to file away for later use.

So in the end, I do feel at least a mention of one, could have more impact than you might think. I wonder how many more people are out there like me, who went 1.5 months without even knowing a REOS existed, and by the time they find out, its to late, they are stuck with what they already have. I am just as guilty of not mentioning them too!

i want to chime in, but im not sure what to add, just keep putting the word out there, people will either get it or they wont, i know all the pro nuts pushed me avidly away from it... while the "quality" of it is better than the svd i decided on going with, that doesnt make the svd bad, it just means its not as good... not everyone can afford them, so blabbing on and on about how its the only thing out there is a royal pain...

reos are not cheap either, but you guys share how good they are, you share why its good, why you should pick one up, but no one says that you have to have it, or that something else is bad because its not a reo.

this is precisely what interested me in a Reo, the mindset, while all vapes are different, in the end a vape is a vape... be it from an ego, or a reo, or a provari... (thats not a bad word here is it? ;) lol) there may be different things about them, but in the end its still a vape... share that you can get a better vape, but dont put down a mod because it doesnt perform as well...

gah im stuck in a circular rant... sorry... that ticked me off so much when i was looking at getting a svd... the dont get a svd get a provari, the svd cant compare to a provari... true or not... grrr

telling me i can get a better vape from a reo, sharing that the reo is awesome, not putting other mods down is a huge part of what brought me here...

spread the word... but dont force it on anyone...

The thing is the Reo isn't for everybody.

Indeed.

I never suggest bottom feeders to anyone unless I feel it will 1) address problems they say they are having, or 2) things they love doing (vaping high VG, or have tough outside employment and need a PV that can take a beating, or loves dripping but can't drip and drive or drip manually, etc.)

It is always important to listen to what the other person is really saying, before offering advice. ;)

It's like recommending a rifle to a slightly built female .... certain ones will get the job done for sure, but if the kickback is so powerful it's gonna blow your shoulder out of joint or knock you backwards, it's kinda lost it's USABILITY for that person.

I would not take the same PV to a wedding as I would out for a hike because some things are just easier to carry, or look "smarter" when you're wearing a dress-up gown.
