1) I'd like to know what distro ECF uses (although posting it could be a security concern if not properly locked down).

2) I really want to know more about the hardware in the ECF "datacenter"? the size of the data-pipe? I have found no posting stating the stats, and I am curious.

Can I get an idea of the hardware in #2 at least? Pictures?

No place like ~/
Looks like red hat enterprise or a derivative (probably centos) running out of liquidweb. The hardware is a bit of a mystery. Using cpanel, so very not likely their own colocated hardware. Their IP range from what's obvious in a quick look points to one of the VPS plans. Given the size and generally good performance of the site, that doesn't make much sense. Doesn't seem like a load balancer/proxying frontend since their etags include file inodes. Could still be forwarding to a single larger backend machine, just not an active/active configuration.

Guess it'll remain a mystery. I could poke harder, but that'd be rude.

UD.

...and might get black suvs sitting in front of your house, or work. I did a quick look a few months ago, and general nmap'ing but I didn't want to dig too much. I just figured I'd ask instead...

I am also suprised at it's so responsive.

Thanks!

It would be interesting to see the netstats during peak times!
