Basically I just inverted the colors from the original photo because it would be easier to print with a lighter colored background. The text at the bottom would only be limited to your imagination. You could also say "I have been smoke free since XX/XX/20XX or your personal signature such as "I Am, Therefore I vape".

The black background would take too much ink to print. I downloaded it and I will print up a few. On second thought, maybe having the users name on it might be a better idea. It may encourage some people to join ECF, if they already know a member.:)

P.S. did you read my motto on my avatar or the one in Morse Code on my signature?

Vista Print has a standing offer of 250 free business cards. Everyone could order their own.
Having the ECF web site address is perfect AND a short description of vaping and why we choose it.
I'd like to "see" some descriptions and we could each choose what works for our style of communication, experience etc.

CreatvDigitl, I resized your ECF card to business card size, put my name on the bottom and printed up 8 copies for my wallet. I really like the card.

My avatar and signature both say the same thing, just in different ways! :)

P.S. Welcome to the ECF!

I'm working on a few different designs for business cards. Most print shops and quick print places such as Kinkos will accept .pdf or .eps files. Before its finalized, i will drop the file by kinkos to get some quotes for you all. Im quite busy right now so it may be a week or so but hope to have a few made before the next semester starts.

Just a note: I am not using a template such as for Avery precut cards. I made my own template in Indesign. So not too sure how they will print on home printers. sorry =/

EDIT:
Here is version uno. please DO NOT use this image to print. I have the original .eps or pdf file with bleed and will be more than happy to e-mail it to anyone that would like it. Size is standard 3.5 x 2 inches, dpi 300, cmyk.

I would would like some feedback, ideas, additional text to add? Was thinking to make the fire inside different colors like blue or green too.

I would definitely agree with the idea of changing the color to blue or green so it doesn't look just like a real cig.

How about doing a negative image so background is white, lettering dark, and PV looking less like an analogue by being black, red, copper, silver, etc.
This would make printing a lot cheaper on toner and come out better on the variety of printers...if someone is going to print these themselves as needed.
Beautiful graphic of PV. Thanks for all your work.

Yes i can do that, however these should only be printed through a professional printer as I do NOT have an Avery template for the correct layout to print on an at home printer. I will do some research on the web and see if I can find one.

I will make some other colors for the pv's. However, I will caution you to use them. I have a heavy background in marketing and it will turn many people away just simply because the graphic might not be familiar or comfortable to them. Change is always the most difficult thing to "get" over in most any aspect in life. Of course you can always give them a copy of Who moved My Cheese along with the card :p

Hmmmm Jerry, That RM my your name and the morse code tells me USN. Is that right? Fair seas!!!!

Mystik, no not Navy, I was Army. It's about Amateur (ham) Radio, the RM is the suffix of my FCC callsign and I had to learn cw (morse code) to get licensed back in '92. Although, the RM (radio man) and morse code may lead people to believe that I was in the Navy.

Welcome to the ECF!

I would highly recommend to have these cards printed professionally. The following three pdf files can be submitted to any online or brick & morter printer. I did some searching online and Staples.com has just about the lowest prices ranging from 16-22 usd for a box of 100 with free standard shipping.

*Professional Print Download*
size is 3.75 x 2.25 to account for bleed will be standard 3.50 x 2 after cut.

Blue Colour:
ADrive.com – 50GB of Free Online Storage & Backup

Green Colour:
ADrive.com – 50GB of Free Online Storage & Backup

Traditional Colour:
ADrive.com – 50GB of Free Online Storage & Backup

-------------------------

*Avery (at home) download*
Please keep in mind, this will use much ink. All three colours are included in each template (traditional, blue, green). Please let me know if these do not properly fit. Many thanks CreatvDigitl for the info, never thought to look at Avery website lol. I used the Avery for InDesign templates.

Avery template for 10 cards:
Compatible with: 5872, 5873, 8872, 8873
ADrive.com – 50GB of Free Online Storage & Backup

Avery template for 8 cards:
Compatible with: 28373, 5881, 8373, 8869
ADrive.com – 50GB of Free Online Storage & Backup

I clicked on blue colour for download and it took me to ADrive where it wanted me to sign up for something.
Could you make files as attachments on your post here?
