Ecf sub forums

So I was just scoping out some of the other sub forums. Never know where your going to find some good info or trivia.
Man, they can get nasty! I was just lurking, but it sure made me appreciate this forum and v4l and how everyone is so helpful and welcoming, regardless of the topic

So sorry that happen to you, When I first came in here I went looking on a few places. What got me to come in here was the post and how many people was in here, And the welcome I got from everyone was so warm feeling in side me And I said this is the place for me. I was welcome very fast and it felt like my kinda of place, and so here I am never going to go any other place.

I've done the same thing Mmc. You're right. I feel these V4L people are the MOST caring people I've ever met ! As someone who is fairly new to this, only since Dec '10, I'm so comfortable here. There is no such thing as a " dumb " question here. You can ask anything and you'll receive the most thoughtful, helpful and friendly answers. Not only from other vapers but the company itself !! That's saying something ! And the humor here is fantastic ♥ I can sit here and laugh until I'm silly..LOL..That's important to me. I love this forum & everyone in it !

Its a big scarey world out there on ECF,I pretty much stay here or PIF,same kinda crowd.If I feel extra gutsy I wander around and tell people about my 2 fav places,LOL!!Im not always welcomed with open arms.Oh and the womens room is a safe and funny place.

Most of the subs are troll dens and cyber morgues. I used to spend a little time in the General, I lurk the Suppliers Review, and I run into to Keyzy from time to time in the New Members Section. Supporting and encouraging new members is a good way to give back.

Yes, they come here often - which is a sign we're doing something right, but we usually stay here and don't wonder to other sub forums. I agree that the 'vaped in public' thread is in the toilet. I cannot believe the personal attacks and holier than thou BS, especially from a particular member I once had respect for. I also can't believe it's not being moderated properly and/or closed down. Some of my friends here have been ridiculed by name and I don't like that, but I'm staying out of it. Ego city there - but that's extremely rare here. This is where the Family hangs out

Totally agree, of course, about The Family here! I've lived in small towns and big cities during the past 20 years, and this forum has a much smaller, more connected sittin' on the porch chatting with friends feeling to it that I appreciate. When I've headed out to the big ECF world, posting occasionally here and there, I've felt like a stranger in a strange land. This forum is my home because of the good, caring people it has somehow attracted.

But man, I've gotta get out more even here--I've missed the 'vaping in public' broohaa completely! Heading over now to rumble.

Hey you guys, it's all about finding the fun sub-forums! I really like this V4L one, but I also found the Zombie sub-forum and it's hilarious. Just a bunch of us preparing for the inevitable Zombie apocalypse. If you're bored or if you like zombie books, movies and silliness, head on over!

Just like any other family there can be the occassional disagreement and I'm glad that neither the bad nor the good are shut down. Bad threads just die. Strangers just stopping by to pour out some nasty don't stay long.

I am here because of the family feel. Of couse I love the women's room too. It's not the sitting on the porch thing..more of friends around the kitchen table. I like checking in with my State Forum (Florida vapors club) to see what is going on around me. meeting people in real life is great!
I have been in most forums here, vendors and sub forums but if they are snarky I leave..I have a bad temper and don't need to be banned. I stay out of "Outside" for that reason.

Once that thread turned nasty, I just stopped reading it at all. I'm sure I've been a target since I last posted in it. Let those people who like to throw sand in the sandbox have their fun. I have to admit, it did sour me a bit however. I'm glad to know that sort of thing doesn't happen often here, or I would not come back here either. Life has enough troubles without having to read posts from strangers that entertain themselves by going on personal attacks in an internet forum. I enjoy discussion, but name calling is pretty juvenile. I do see lots more of that in the sub forums. I hope this forum remains a friendly place.

It will remain the way it is because we all make an effort to keep it helpful and friendly.The other subforum can attack eachother and call names but I dont think that will fly over here.We just arent that type of group.Thank God.

I wander around and read a lot of the forums and subforums, and the display of temper and nastiness always amazes me. I have never seen any post that made me angry, but some of the responses do show that some of these people can be pretty close-minded. I believe that some of the posters do not have much of a life if they can get so angry at someone they don't even know. I prefer the funny ones and some of them have made me laugh out loud. A lot of people with good senses of humor making comments. Check out the "A funny story" one from the poster who sent an order to Blue Mist Vaping. I don't remember which forum, but it was only a couple of days ago.

Some of the other forums I belong to are all about bitterness and anger with a little jealousy thrown in. I just find what I need, try to add a positive statement and drift back here.

Life is supposed to be fun, period.
