This unit apparently has no nicotine and has been approved as a medical device... so their website/article note.

PGM International is the parent company. Anyone every heard of them or know anything? Rickstar???

That's a very good sign. Someone has to get the ball rolling. Other countries need to follow suit and get the device registered with no nicotine. Then we can take it the next step.

What's interesting will be the debate, as it was in Canada, that if it doesn't contain nicotine, then it isn't technically a drug and therefor, does not need to be registered.

This is nothing more than a PR release. Note the "byline": Media Release 18.06.2009.

Take this with a VERY large grain of salt. If a government approves, you won't learn of it through a PR release.

Nothing to get too excited about. Nicotine cartridges are illegal for sale in New Zealand. Not exactly a starter, it ends this way.
