Hello. A couple weeks ago, out of the blue, I wanted an eCig. I hadn't researched it on the internet or anything and had actually heard about the "eCigs" on a John Stossel program in a discussion about California banning them. I literally drove around for about 4 hours looking for a store that sold an eCig. I found a Pilot truck stop that sold the njoy NPro 2N1. I bought the starter pack and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Since then, I have done a lot of research and have bought a 510 kit (which isn't here yet). So this question is going to apply to both my njoy NPro 2N1 (RN4081?) and the 510 that I don't have yet.

About battery life -- Would it be better to use up the whole battery and then charge it as opposed to charging between uses? At first I got caught off guard with a dead battery a couple of times, since then I am pluggin' it back in as soon as I am done. Which would be better to extend the lifetime of the batteries overall?

You charge one while using the other - I charge them fully, use them fully. I am always charging on while using the other. I don't know if repeated partial recharges use up the part of 150-200 recharges you can expect to get out a an ecig battery. One vendor says it is more like 150.

You can get a PCC (a portable charging case) for 510 - charge the case overnight and at least 1 battery overnight. Then during the day it can charge your dead battery while you use the other. I think it will do 4 recharges or so?

I don't know if there is an Njoy or RN4081 PCC.

The "memory effect" does not apply to Li-on batteries in any way.

Charge it when you want, for as long as you want.
The more often the better actually.

Check out this link for more information...
Charging lithium-ion batteries

EDIT: And yes, there are PCCs for RN4081s out there.
EDIT: Just google RN4081 PCC

Lithium ion batteries don't like to be fully discharged. That's why they cut off before they are dead (and to keep the vaping experience at near max). You can charge them by topping off or when they flash. There's nothing wrong with swapping batteries when you go out and let the other one charge. The charger will cut off at 3.92v or so.
