I've been tabulating ecig model data for the last month or two. I noticed today that Jim Davis mentioned in an old thread that it would be nice to have the threads sizes identified for most models and charted. The following database has almost no thread information, but if modders were to break out their calipers/micrometers and each contribute the thread dia, thread pitch, and whether the atomizer device is male or female, we eventually would have some good hard info to go on. There probably isn't one person with all the ecigs available to measure, but it only would take one entry from a lot of people to fill most of the table out. Even if you can't measure the thread size, just filling in the atomizer male/female column would help.
For example, I measure 7.90mm on the the male battery threads of my 901, and 7.30mm inside measure on the atomizer. The thread pitch is a little more difficult to pin down by eyeball, about .70mm to .82mm. Looking up in the machinist's tables, this is probably an extra fine pitch 8mm thread. It's nominal size is 8mm x .75mm. Atomizer is female. Ta da. (Unless, of course, this may be a 5/16-32, but let's not complicate the issue. Feel free to suggest an alternate size, to be resolved by discussion.)

Any other info in this table that is missing or wrong, please contribute. Eventually, we may even know what we're dealing with, which could help immensely in our efforts to modify them. I have collected many hundreds of photos of the cigs, kits, and the boxes they come in, in order to help figure out who actually is making that model, and exactly what model we bought from 'crazy vapor man on Ebay'. I don't exactly know how to publish those, whether I can, and/or whether I should, but any suggestions would be appreciated.
