LOTS of clones are going around. however not all clones are created equal. there are some really good clones out there (interchangeable parts with originals "nautilus"/oddy/etc...) and there are some really crap ones. its a wild west out there so its best to research before you buy. i know the impulse to purchase is really strong and the employee can be very persuasive but stick to your guns. you'll feel more satisfied making a calculated purchase.

What I bought I am pretty happy with I'm not really interested in being a "pro" vapor if that's the term to use I just wwa looking for something with decent battery life and taste and so far this is working, tho I think I fried my taste buds today lol I guess my concern stems from just the myriad of info and options and hoping I didn't buy junk lol tho this model is very popular around here. I'm still kinda a just soaking in information.
China is renowned for making copies of even the genuine factory next door to them, you can find good 'fakes' but also bad ones. Don't be fooled by these imitations though no logos often mean no genuine. Try to test them out if you can, I'm a UK member and even I think it's too expensive. I have evods and none of them have a logo. They are direct from Kanger (via the TOP UK vendor)
$50 seems to expensive for one battery, an evod, some juice and a charger. However, it could be worse.

Live and learn, almost everyone of us has paid more than we could have at least once. B&M's can be pricey, but online carries a higher risk of Credit Card fraud, (not just e-cig vendors, not pointing fingers). It comes down to if it works to keep you from smoking, you could have done worse.
U didn't mention if you got the eVod battery &/or clearomizer also. I bought both, the battery has eVod stamped near the end with a 'k' on the end cap, also has a flush fire button a little lower than normal. No markings on the clearo.
I know I could easily spend that $50 dollars in less than a week on regular smokes, so even if it lasts a week, which it definitely should even if it's a knockoff, it was worth it. That's the perspective I try to put on things if ever I feel I've been had... Oh, and I didn't even mention the medical costs saved, being able to do less laundry because my clothes don't reek of smoke and I can rewear a shirt I wore to dinner last night, the list goes on. Not saying I've saved a lot of money, now that I've become a hobbyist, lol. But it's soooo worth it now.
