We are following parallel paths. I installed a set of Marine grade stainless steel 5" nerf bars a couple of days ago. With 20" rims you have to slide out to the ground without them. I'm looking at a bed liner next. Spray in or drop in, it needs one. I like the spray in liner if it's one that lasts and is guaranteed. Otherwise, I've used drop ins that fit under the side rails. Mine came with vinyl tailgate and side rail protection for the painted surfaces. Chrome side rails would be a nice touch, too.
