Well i paid 68 bucks for the VTR and so far so good. I paid 60 bucks for a cigar battery and it worked for a little while, i have like 5 of them, and there all broke so with the VTR im pretty happy. Just need to find the right battery but it is working pretty good. Provape is my next one, thanks for the help.

Me, too. The genuine joyetech Ego Twists I bought more than a year ago still work fine, and I've used them every day. The only thing I've had die on me in a month was an Ego knock off I bought from a well known China vendor :D

The four genuine Joyetech eGo batteries I bought when I started in 2011 still hold a charge and still work. And those four batteries were largely all I used for my first year of vaping. The fact that they still work now is just a bonus.

The Riva eGo kit I bought in December 2011 - because it was a "deal of the century price" and I figured those Joyetech batteries were only going to last so long... One battery was dead after charging it twice - no warranty - and the other lasted all of three months. Someone else I know bought a half dozen of those same "deal of the century price" Riva kits to give as Christmas presents. Out of the twelve kit batteries four were DOA and the other eight all were dead within 90 days. Great stuff.

That was the first and last time I bought knockoff brands from less than well known dealers.
