ecig threading

Just happened across the fact that the Mistic brand ecigs commonly bought at WalMart have the same threading as the everyday valve stem on bicycles and vehicle tires.

the connectors are bigger then 510's, with bigger center hole and should be more robust/sturdy on the homemade mods.

Wish there was a chart that specified the size and thread count for each type.

That's actually pretty interesting.

I would love a chart like that! Take all the mystery out of it. And, maybe someday we will buy our modding gear at the hardware store instead of online? The possibilities!

The threading is NOT the same! I was able to connect them without cross threading, but they are not the same. I found that if the ridges on the threading are not very tall; or sloppy if you will, they fit. if machining is done well they do NOT fit.

All I can say is that I have put my kr808d1 cartos and clearos on a mistic batt and they have worked fine. Does it fit perfectly NO but it works it just has a gap between the two but it does not seem to be an issue. I will say this just so no one gets any funny ideas, you can not use the mistic charger for the 808 batteries and vice versa. The specs for charging are different so this is not a good idea.
