Suppliers can not respond here.

Which is why so many folk post their complaints in this forum!!!

I believe in letting the membership say yea or nay without supplier propaganda/tap dancing.

Besides, other than da "I luv 'em" or "I hate 'em" responses, da general membership will reiterate da "Have ya...?" check list.

I have some rules before purchasing online:
1 - No contact info = no sale
2 - No clear return policy = no sale
3 - No PG/VG ratio disclosure = no sale
4 - No harmful ingredient disclosure = no sale
5 - Hide company info = no sale
6 - Hide whois info on the domain = no sale

If I feel a company is hiding something or makes it difficult to find information, I move on. Too many legit vendors out there. No time needs to be wasted on questionable vendors.

True, but very often a supplier will see a post regarding a specific transaction and want to respond (I know if it was my business, I would want to), particularly if they have an issue with the post. In fairness to everyone it's best for those posts to go in the suppliers thread/forum or negative reviews.

We don't have a problem with people posting their opinions, the ecig review or e-liquid review section is full of positive and negative reviews.

Couldn't agree more.

Pick your vendors, do some research, check their policies.

If I can't find an address, I move on.

I have to agree with this. Due to times being rough financially we are all looking for who has the cheapest juice or "Clone" Mods.... You know... I was raised on "If its something worth doing then it better be something worth doing right". Out of all of the vendors that is on the forum's "list of" and out of all of the ones I have seen not on that list I will only shop at 4. One local shop (and that's in a pinch) and 3 online. Out of the 3 online I have my favorite 2. One I chose as a favorite because of their prices. Has to be because if it was for their shipping time they would have never made the list. I was skeptical at first but made my order. Once my order finally got here, I inspected all 8 tanks and all 5 coils. They have been perfect so far. Then I read the shipping packet. 90 day return policy. The other one I chose as a favorite was because of their prices on liquids and their customer service is out of this world. Made an order. hadn't received confirmation on order for a full day so I emailed them the following day. From that first email the lady who I was corresponding with was all over the problem. She told me in my last email correspondence with her that if my juice order hadn't arrived in the next 3 days to call her and she would make it right. I received my juice in 2 days... Instead of emailing her I went ahead and called her and thanked her personally. Not too many vendors out there would have gone above and beyond the call of duty, so to speak, like this lady did...

ask the tornado victims in ok or the victims of hurricane sandy if those are the scariest words....... I lost everything in a tornado ythereears ago and I am extremely grateful for the help I received. I don't hate the government , just wish it ran better sometimes, but that is not the same as hate......

They can consider themselves lucky. I live in Texas and watched how things were after Hurricane Ike absolutely erased the coastal towns back in 2008. There was no benefit concerts, and no fundraising. Many of the victims STILL cannot get their money from the government insurance programs that they were paying into for years.

Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me.
I read recommendations and then read what is on the seller's site. I am not interested in cheapest or trying every new seller. I'm looking for quality and dependability, both in the product and the seller. If they meet my expectations I'm happy to recommend them. If not then I'll post in the specific forum names, dates, problems, and resolution if there is one. Caveat Emptor y'all!

I am thinking about writing a review, but the way the company talked to me so umprofessionally. I don't know if its worth the risk . they might do something with my personal info or something. I told them I was going to write negative reviews on forums to see their reaction, but they didn't really care. I might do it just based on principle.

The problem with some companies is that they ship on time, send you the item.. And if you don't have a problem you might even give them a positive review. Sometimes you know how bad a company only when you aren't satisfied with something. There is a commonality with vendors and that is they can make up their own rules. Anywhere else you go, 99 percent of the time no matter the product or store, if you are unhappy with something and have proof of purchase they return the item without a fuss. But a lot of ecig vendors won't do that.

I still don't want the government involved. The best we can do is use ECF to share these experiences of who is awesome and who sucks. Eventually those that suck will go out of business b/c everyone is buying from the awesome vendors.

If anything we should fight to get Amazon and eBay to lift their bans. At least those places have built in rating systems and some buyer protections.

Good news! E-cigs ARE being sold on Amazon & eBay. I just ordered a Protank mini off eBay last night. Go look! :)

I think there should be some sort of regulations, but only to the juice side, right now anyone can make and sell juice, you have no idea how sanity conditions some of these people are working in and what they are putting in the juice, I have juice from quite a few vendors and some I love and would hate to see disappear, but does concern me that anyone, anywhere can make and sell what we are inhaling, and I think that will change in the future.

Wow are you my missing twin? :) I was thinking the same thing today. I opened a new bottle of Liqua and it made me feel safe that it was in a box and the bottle was sealed. I bought an ejuice from a B&M to show my support and not even a hand written label taped to it.

Everything you said is true. However, if it gets regulated by the government you can bet we will end up with only cig-a-likes produced in clean labs by Big-T companies and only 2 possible flavors...regular and menthol. Just like it is with analogs.

I mean come on the FDA FORCED Big-T to start using carpet glue in cigarettes for crying out loud. All under the guise of making them "Fire Safe". You want those people dictating what is in your juice?!?!?!

On the other hand, anybody you don't trust or have a bad experience with you can stop using them. Not to mention if someone were to mix up some juice in an old boot they fished out of the sewer it would still be cleaner and more sanitary than smoking an analog.

No, I am not condemning all companies just based on one bad experience. I have had some good and some bad experiences. I have ordered stuff from many companies. I notice a commonality between many vendors when you end up having a problem with something they sell you.. they give you a hassle on returning it.. A lot of times I have gotten defective crap that didn't work out of the box. between quality and control lacking and their stupidity of not wanting to satisfy customers is what pisses me off. Many do whatever they want, write their own rules and don't take responsibility for anything. If the government was fair and just.. than I would like all of this crap to be regulated in the sense that they have to adhere to some kind of standard.. However.. The government will just ruin the industry and turn it into ecig nicorette brand.

As far as juices.. I agree. Anyone can mix juice in their basement. but I am hoping most guys who do end up doing it have a passion for what they do and are doing a good job. So far thank god I haven't had any bad experiences with juice that I know of.

You'd think big time suppliers would be the ones that would blow you off and not reply to PMs but I finding its the little guys that are the ones being the idiots and ignore responding. I sent out PMs asking about a special request to a couple of wood modders that could have been easily answered with a simple "sorry but no" yet I hear back nothing. I check their profile and they been online here and posting.:glare: Well they will stay small time if that's how they do business.
