ecigexpress watered down flavor

Hmmm... That is one of my favorite FA flavors, and I was almost out. ECX was out of a few flavors so I ordered elsewhere. I ordered two 10mls of FA Hypnitic Mist from Liberty flights. I'll double check the colors on each. It MAY be FA changed its flavorings (it does happen). I just received my package from LF a week ago. I'll compare what I have left from ECX (about 4 months old) to the newer one and let you know. Then we'll know if its perhaps a change in formula or something else.

cool except they could still have a bunch of the old stuff (if in fact it was changed). let me know tho either way. I rly hope they didn't change it and the problem is ecigexpress...i can stand losing the $ but not my beloved mist it's all i rly vape.

I'm still interested in what they tell you about if they changed it, their thoughts on the color change too if they say the did change it.

what's weird is it smells the exact same as it used to...just the taste is way off and its pale. I will get to the bottom of this though lol rest assured

According to their site:
"Time to time we are asked why the flavor has a different hue, or if we have changed something.
Generally we do not change our formulas, and in the rare case we do, we do to make it better and advise by our web pages."

There's nothing about any changes to it on the site and it's certainly not better lol...Idk I'm leaning more towards ecigexpress as the culprit but we'll see. I'll post their response when I hear back.

Well depending on the flavor ingredients, it might smell the same to our noses at 10% of original flavor, so that's probably not a good way to look at testing it. Color is, but that can change while recipe remains the same sometimes, but your flavor experiences certainly say something is fishy to me.

I doubt they'd change the flavor that drastically without making a notice of it on their page, and that would probably only be done if some harmful ingredient info was found, and surely they'd let everyone know about that as well along with the recipe change notice.

Yep, also not only does the nic base have a strong nic odor but something leaked during shipping and 2 out of the other 5 flavors I got were horrible - never had em before but since I started DIY I haven't had a single flavor I didn't like enough to at least finish the bottle... I'm 98% sure its ecx but just wanna wait till I hear from FA to condemn them... meanwhile I'm looking for a recommendation for a site to get 12mg nic base besides wizard labs and rts. freedomsmokes seems kinda expensive. also I see LF is outta stock of hypnotic mist too now so I gotta find that also if it turns out it wasn't changed.

of course they'd screw up my largest order lol...why wouldn't they? happened w/ velvet vapors too - every time i try to stock up something goes wrong...

RTS and LF might be the only places locally to get it, or maybe High Desert Vapes has some not sure? As for Nic, aside from those you mention, if you want to get it on the cheaper side of things, the only other place I can think of would be MFS. Some say theirs is a little peppery though, but I haven't tasted it myself so I can't comment to that.

I ordered a bottle of 30 ml FA vanilla bourbon from ecigexpress and the color was lighter than normal and the flavor was weak. I usually buy the 10 ml bottle but wanted to buy bulk this time. I opened a ticket with them and they replied that the 30 ml bottles were old stock and FA might have changed the recipe. They did send me 3 10 ml bottles of the vanilla bourbon at their own expense which I was grateful for. The 10 ml bottles had great flavor. Just thought I would share my experience with this company and I do plan on doing business with them again but I wish I could find somewhere to buy it in bulk.

I agree. Their nic is also the cleanest tasting IMO MFS has the strongest odor and taste IMO but many people do like it that way.

Just wanted to tell you about 1 more option for FA flavors. I have not ordered from them before but they do have FA flavors. HM is listed under their tobaccos. I personally have the best results from RTS FA though.

Update - no reply yet from FA and ecx seems unconcerned w/ the fact that they not only shipped me a big leaking bottle of stinky, off-tasting base but also weird tasting hypnotic mist and a bottle of choc caramel flavor that tastes and smells like rubbing alcohol...oh well. I'll get my FA flavors from LF and base from wizard labs from now on.

There are other Vendor's who have that concentrate. Sometimes it's under a different name like Hype or Hypnotic. I know what you mean about feeling disappointed, I use Hypno in several recipes. I have one 10ml bottle left and I hope the brand I get from WL hasn't changed it's formula.

Hmmm you are right. RTS does not have it in stock at this time. I do know that they are waiting on a huge shipment from FA and will be stocking every FA flavor made in 10, 30, 60 and 120 ml bottles. They said that the expected delivery will be about 2 months.
