i admit to dropping an ego battery in our toliet <<i don't wear a bra>> as i grabbed some tissue to swipe out the residue inside the connection before putting on the charger which is kept on side of sink.
Still works !

Lost my boxmod overboard last week while kayak fishing. It did float but there was water inside. I pulled the battery out real quick and blew it out with the air compressor when I got home. I let it dry for a day and it worked just fine. If your PV gets wet, pull the battery out as fast as you can.

I lost an expensive pen-knife in a similar manner once. I was pulling my trousers up after taking a dump in a porta-loo at a festival and it popped out of it's belt holder and as luck (Anti-luck?) would have it, went straight down the pan!
You were luckier than me though as there is absolutely now way I was going to stick my hand down a "Turdis" on the third day of Glastonbury!

I've found (partially due to the above anecdote) that when buying trousers the number one criteria should always be how many zip or button closed pockets there are! I never wear jeans simply because of the lack of pockets!

I went swimming over the summer in cutoffs and a t-shirt. Got out and wondered why my shorts were heavy on one side...pulled out my Reo Mini. Opppssss...glad that they had clean water on board. Threw away the carto and put in a dry battery/fresh bottle of juice...ahhhh...vaping bliss again. My poor Reo Mini got to see the deep dark depths of a lake.

I have actually tried to talk my husband into manufacturing me a wrist wallet along the line of Leela's from Futurama. Something that will hold my cell, my juice, my ego and a credit card. I hate carrying a purse and a wrist wallet would be perfect for me. Why doesn't anyone make those?? Oh they make little tiny tiny wrist bands you can stick a few bucks in but nothing that could carry my ecig. Someone should really produce wrist packs and sell them to vapers...........

I do a lot of fishing (MN eh?) I've dropped one in the drink. I dropped my 808 off the side of the boat, reaching for a walleye. Poor guy didn't have a chance Since than I have always left my good PV at home. I found these "Mistic E Cigs" at a truck stop. Relatively cheap and work well, plus are compatible with my 808. I bring one of them with and haven't dropped one since. Guess I just had to learn my lesson w/ the more expensive one first.
