First Credits to Kristen, because i am linking to your article in this, I wanted to add more sight to this great article by your creation, But I wanted to add my own statements to it for facebook, but as I got writing mine got to long for face book so I will post it below so that way I can just use a link and so people here can read it as well.
ECigs Are saving my Life and wallet every single day. I was smoking two packs a day, for the non smokers that is 40 cigarettes in a 24 hour period, at a cost of 300 euro a month, Since one pack costs 5 euro making 2 packs a day 10 euro a day. Most who know me know that I have a multitude of lung problems. My best friend and her husband had started Ecigs and she had suggested I try them and of course I wanted to learn about them first, like most smokers the idea that i could get the same thing from something that didn't have tobacco was nuts, or no way it could be safer. But I started to read and a complete idiot, can see just from reading what the solution is made out of that it's safer. Cigarettes contain over 4000 chemicals, and most of them are dangerous in someway. Ecigs Contain 4 chemicals, and even if you get flavored ones, like me I use a all natural flavor company, I use in particular their tobacco flavored juice, Astraia prefers their chocolate flavor.
This means that you are not getting exposed to any chemicals that are not in the chocolate, and I am not being exposed to any chemicals that are not in a cigarette, But even mine the lvls that I am being exposed to are so much lower that just a two second comparing of the numbers can tell that it is safer. Now some people would like to keep saying they are just as dangerous as cigarettes but this is a lie that a child can understand by looking at whats in them. The nicotine is not the most dangerous thing in a cigarette, the FDA has done tests and proved that Nicotine is just as dangerous as caffeine and the Nicotine in one cigarette would be about the same as the Caffeine in a cup of coffee if it wasn't for the 3999 other chemicals along with it. Ecigs do not have 3997 of those. and the 4 that it does have are not the Dangerous ones.
Cost wise, for the same cost as I was paying for Analogs in one month, I was able to buy enough Nicotine solution, for both me and Astraia for 4 months. Now why the Initial cost may be more, 50 euro for a starter kit, the monthly upkeep is much less. at max we spend for two people 50 euro for a whole month, and that is at max, which is a savings of 250 euro a month, and that is not counting the savings of astraia's. My health has improved 200 fold since starting the Ecigs, I breath better, I can smell things I could not smell before, I can taste things I could not taste before, and standing next to someone smoking an analog makes me actually feel sick, and the smell of them makes me gag.
I will be forever grateful to Toni and Scott for introducing me to Ecigs, and would recommend any smokers and Family members of smokers, to give this a try just 1 week, and I guarantee you will be able to cut down on analogs, if not totally quit, start with a nicotine solution 11mg or higher as that is the amount in a regular analog smoke(I know because Germany the MG of nicotine in the cigarettes has to be listed on the pack.), I guarantee that the cost of one month will be a quarter of what you are spending now. The article I posted below has way more info, and if you try and agree please let the FDA know, that this time they are way out of line.
I do not use them to quit Nicotine Just smoking, It is safer for me and those around, I do not need a scientist or a government to tell me what a blind man can see by reading a label, and actually trying it, and I will not even get into how no smoke(that's right its a vapor) means no smoke inhalation, and the disorders that come with it.
