Ecigs shows up in House of Cards Season 2

House of Cards was released today. Frank's wife tells him to quit cigarettes because vice presidents don't smoke. Later she walks in a room and sees him puffing away. "You're cheating' she says. He says, No I'm not. Its vapor. You should try it. Its addiction without the consequences."

Heres the scene with Frank holding his Blu.

and a later scene however they find two cigs and go back to them

Never seen house of cards, tried to watch it but my wife was not a fan of it...

but that is awesome... maybe by the end of the season he has found the REO and is happy...

I wish more television shows had people vaping, this would definitely help the vaping community and may open up non-smokers
about vaping.

This is great! As far as I know first appearance of an E cig in any major production -TV or movie- Kevin Spacey was already one of my favorite actors but WHOO HOO definitely makes me admire him even more. This is one of my favorite shows, and I'm anxious to see how the rest of the world (non-vapors) react to this. As for vaping publically that's something that should be handled with care. Nothing is going to turn off the general public more than getting an unknown (to them at least) misty cloud blown in their personal space, only to have someone get mad at them when they don't like it. Use you E cig respectfully people don't get us a bad rap!!

Johnny Depp uses an ecig in The Tourist, which was around 3 years ago.

i suppose it's a start, but one destined to cause disillusionment after every USB port in sight is used charging pathetic batteries for dear life to get 10 minutes of wispy vape.

As for vaping in public - i vape everywhere smoking is not forbidden already and am oblivious to any weird looks i may get. Nobody confuses my mods for a cigarette.

I remember watching this really weird show on Syfy that took place in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian version of St. Louis, MO. Anyway, the characters all smoked Blu Cigs, which I found interesting. Of course, they never mentioned vaping in-depth or anything, but it was neat seeing the characters puff away on a vaping device, possibly because it took place in the future.

We saw this too - it was great, but I was sad to see that they were back to cigarettes by the end of the season, although they won't be getting away with it on season 3 Frank's quote was pretty great.
