That's strange Kitabz as yesterday I would've said my 18 mg rich tobacco was the strongest flavouring I'd experienced and it's the only time I've ever noticed a lingering odour in the room.

Isn't that strange? I wonder if there's been a labelling error and I've been sent the fresh by mistake (the label does say "Rich Tobacco"). I'd guess that the mg is correct, I can definitely feel the nicotine and what flavour there is is like the peppery/tingliness that comes with the higher mgs. Someone else [maybe not on this forum] mentioned that they thought that all of the flavours had a hint of menthol and I'd agree with that view. It's not strong but I think that there is a little coolness present, hence the "fresh" description.

As I mentioned in my original post, I don't get much flavour from British Bulldog (or zero samples of "French Pipe" or "Like Smoke" either (all e-cigs.co.uk)). Maybe I'm just insensitive to tobacco flavours. I'll see if I can blow some of this intellicig's stuff in someone's face to see if they can smell anything!

Got to say the taste isn't so marked today. I've found this will all juices. They seem a bit flat a couple of days after opening. I also managed to mix up the two evos I was using for the menthol and rich tobacco and the atomisers were obviously making up some of the difference. The menthol vapour was a lot better using the atomiser I was using for the rich tobacco (I did blow out the atomisers once I realised my mistake).

I have been vaping the medium "rich" tobacco Ecopure liquid for a few days now and I am not really sure what to make of it?

At first it had a very sweet mentholy smell kind of like minty candyfloss and a taste that I would describe as "fresh". The liquid has a slight golden colour - much lighter than TW tobacco (high). There are very visible crystals in the liquid which I presume are menthol crystals. I am begining to wonder if my bottle was mislabled?? I am certainly getting no tobacco taste whatsoever?? All in all a bit dissapointed :(

I have placed an order for the menthol and normal tobacco liquids (as well as standard tobacco carts - which in my opinion is the best tasting juice so far). This should let me see if there has been a labeling error. I will post my findings once the other juice arrives.

I've had the same experience as you, Kula. I ordered Rich Tobacco but what I have tastes of mild menthol, which I'm not very keen on. Apart from the menthol it is virtually tasteless so I'm quite disappointed.

I'd describe it as e-juice for people who have never smoked or who didn't like smoking. There's almost no throat hit although there is quite a bit of vapour.

Bland.

The other thing I don't like is the cheap plastic pipette which comes with it. It's way too long and fragile to carry around easily; gets dirty with the juice which gets stuck in it; tends to blow air bubbles into the cartridge during refilling (which causes juice to leak down the side and into the mouthpiece);and is generally unfit for purpose.

The only thing I do like is the relatively good price, but I'd rather pay a bit more for a better product.

Kula, that's the same batch no. as my High Rich Tobacco. Yours could still be incorrectly labelled of course but I am in some agreement with you on the taste. One week on I'm still finding it to be quite a strong flavour compared to what I've tried before. I said earlier I had no idea what it tasted of but the smell of something baking came to mind and I'm now thinking your candy floss comment isn't far off the mark. My wife described it as a vanilla smell. Unlike mouse I'm finding the throat hit reasonable but I haven't had a great throat hit from anything (even TW 36 mg menthol which was supposedly going to choke me). It's still the nearest I've felt to having a real smoke since I got my evo. I wouldn't say it was a tobacco taste but there's certainly plenty of vapour. I'd probably place it above the intellicig regular carts which weren't bad.

I'm still not tasting a lot of menthol in the very high menthol (to me that would be more like the "bland" mouse mentions) and the throat hit is even less than the rich tobacco but, again, I'm preferring it to what I've had before. Maybe my past experiences are such that I'm easier to please.

Re the plastic pipette, I like things small and neat so was horrified when I seen it but I have to say I had practically zero spills or stickiness when I made 5 carts to take out with me and I got no squirts of juice when vaping them. That's in total contrast to the ones I made using the neater TW juice and dropper.

I had a quick word with Suzanne at Intellicig today about an order I have placed and I mentioned the taste of the liquid. She stated that they added more menthol to help mask the nicotine taste - this would make sense perhaps for the v high nic content liquid but mine was medium. If I understood her correctly they are going through a trial and error phase with making up the liquids. She stated that they appreciate all feedback and my comments would be noted.

I am not complaining about the liquid and I can use it alone with no probs (just no tobacco taste) but I prefer to mix it with TW's 18mg Tobacco on a 2 to 1 ratio (2 tw / 1 ECO). This sweetens up the original TW Tobacco taste quite nicely and I now have quite a caramely tobacco tasting mix with just the right nicotine content and throat hit.

Mouse,

can you have a look at your Ecopure bottle and see what the "batch" number is? Mine is 090411. I wonder if a particular batch was mislabled??

I am not using the Pipette that came with the liquid. I am using a glass dropper - which is probably why I can clearly see the crystals in the liquid.

Cheers.

Kula.

Same batch number - 090411 - and I also had the medium strength. I just feel that if I wanted menthol flavour, I'd order it, and don't really appreciate being given it as part of the mix. I get TW normally and I really like the depth of flavour. Perhaps EcoPure will better suit those people who used to smoke menthol cigarettes?

Hello guys,

I just received the black Evo yesterday, including 20ml Rich tobacco - Medium (I have emailed them for the nicotine strenght as it is not posted there and they say it is 12 mg).

So, I don`t really like what I received so I`m a little unhappy. The taste is different than the pre-loaded carts that I received with the first evo.

It produces a greater amount of vapor but there is no throat hit at all, and the taste is a kind of flat,a bit sugarless, which is 1 step ahead to the analog cigs...but the lack of throat hit makes it bad for me...

There is also a hint of a menthol flavor to it.

I`m a kind of confused because I`ve read in other threads that maybe I shoud have ordered High instead of Medium...as I ordered some black carts as well with the Regular Medium liquid, there is no throat hit there as well....8-o

So in case the throat hit is due to lack of nicotine content I guess the Rich tobacco liquid would be really nice in High volume for many users, as it is not sweet and it is close to analogs..

As I already tasted a few drops of the bottle I think I`ll have to either live with that or try to mix it with the other liquids that I`m awayting:rolleyes:

Having spent the week jumping between the rich tobacco and the menthol I switched back to some tw 36 mg menthol yesterday. The throat hit was much better (although if I keep smoking that it lessens) but the vapour was real wimpish compared to the ecopure. I ended up back on the ecopure stuff but was more aware of the lack of throat hit. This vaping game still has a long way to go to get it right.

Ooowaa......I have been vaping the ecopure rich tobacco for a day and just now overfilled and had to blow out my atomizer, I always roll up a bit of tissue to insert into the penstyle tube and then blow through the battery end......when I pulled the tissue out, the excess juce blown onto the tissue was RED...it looks almost like watery blood...It's not unusual for excess juice to come out a dirty brown but not bright RED.....has anyone else seen this?

I`ve been vaping the menthol 18mg for a few days now and my reactions are mixed.
Upon opening the bottle, which as others have stated comes in a cheap looking plastic container, there was almost no smell to it at all. I even thought I had been sent the unflavoured by mistake. But anyway the proof is in the flavour.
I almost exclusively drip in a 901 with passthrough so I dripped 3 drops and smoked away. The initial taste is very good in my opinion, not strong, but I could only described it as if you dipped a polo mint in water and inhaled through the hole. The flavour was very clean and would not be something I would tire of. Throat hit was there, but very smooth compared to other 18mg liquids I have tried through my current atomiser (I must have a good one as most liquids are very harsh)

The other thing I don't like is the cheap plastic pipette which comes with it. It's way too long and fragile to carry around easily; gets dirty with the juice which gets stuck in it; tends to blow air bubbles into the cartridge during refilling

I`d have to agree with this, the pipette is a joke, you tend to get dribbles of nic liquid running down the sides and for a clean freak like myself this is very off putting, it`s also not something you could take out and drip in public.

Cost on the other hand was very good and I wouldn`t hesitate to buy this liquid at the price they sell it for (I suppose the trade off is in the packaging) but in future I would source some smaller plastic bottles with dripper.

Postage to the UK took longer than expected but by no means unreasonable but if you are running short then you might want to bear this in mind and order in advance.

Overall I would rate this liquid as :-

Taste 4 out of 5
Throat hit 3 out of 5
Packaging 2 out of 5
Delivery times 3 out of 5

If intellicig could offer a bottle and packaging in much the same way as Totally Wicked then this would be a must buy for me but in closing if you don`t want a harsh ,over-powering menthol taste that you can use as an all day smoke, then you can`t go wrong with this :)

EDIT
Can`t believe I didn`t include this but I was a bit inebriated when I posted this.
Vapor Production 5 out of 5
Thick plumes on the exhale, you wouldn`t even know it was VG based

I'm a total newbie to both e-smoking and the ECF - so practically ZERO experience - but this made me reply immediately. :) What you've described happened to me yesterday - I was trying out the two bottles of ECOpure I had received a couple of days earlier - one RICH and one MILD, both Medium Nic - each with a different atomizer and cart (I use the EVO). Now at first I gota monster throat hit from the RICH-filled cart, but then I got some funny taste on a few subsequent drags and - as I hadn't used the EVO for a few days, because I'm not ready to give up analogs before I am SURE the my e-cig and the liquid can replace it in full - decided to drain/clean the atomizer. And after leaving it on some kitchen towel, I saw EXACTLY WHAT YOU DESCRIBE - some watery-red drops. I managed to prevent myself from freaking out :) and tried to wash/drain it once more, but with the same result - the red stuff didn't go away. I may be over-reacting, but I have to say that I am a bit worried about the whole thing now (especially after having read a gazillion posts on the "acrolein issue"). One thing's for certain - I ain't using that atomizer again, no sir. :|

Bad liquid (tried the same liquid with second atty, so far so good), bad atomizer? Or bad user? :D

Anyone else?

I prefer consumable items to be made in North America or Europe for a few reasons. Better QA and much stricter and enforced food safety standards. You can call it xenophobia all you want but China suffers from some serious safety issues and will for many years to come. Buying from a western company also makes it easier to apply for compensation in the event a safety issue does arise.

Tobacco kills 400,000 Americans a year. Are you kidding me? How is the QA better?
