I originally posted this on the TW forums, as there is where I generally hang out.
Fresh Flavour V high (24mg) from Intellicig

First impressions - The packaging looks cheap and nasty, the pictures on Intellicigs website do it justice :p It's a small plastic child proof container, with a white label, with the usual hazard warnings on. Also included is a 1ml plastic pipette (which is enough to give anyone flashbacks to school science lessons :p)
The liquid itself is completely clear, and almost totally odourless, with maybe the slightest hint of menthol. Its also pretty thin, not thick at all.

To give it a real blast, equipment used was a titan, with brand new atomizer (with a drop of VG vaped to start it off) and a fully charged battery.

Vapour production is HUGE (but it is a titan with new atomizer)
Throat hit is a little odd, its not huge, there is one, but very smooth, especially for the titan
Taste - pretty much none. I haven't tried unflavoured before, but that's what I would describe this as. In spite of the lack of flavour, it does actually make an enjoyable vape, but I suspect it would get boring very quickly.

Overall - not a bad vape, but probably best thought of as unflavoured, ought to be well suited to DIY flavouring. The lack of a dropper is irritating, and the bottle is to short to fit a TW one. It looks cheap, but it is in compliant packaging.

The label does give a list of ingredients though
Aqueous VG > 50%
Deionised water < 20%
Menthol < 1%
Ethyl Maltol < 6%
Other < 1%
Not quite the 4 ingredients in the advertising, but pretty close (and I suppose its debateable if water really counts)
Ethyl maltol would seem to be the main flavour (unless its there as an air freshener), but if so, I don't taste it :p

Kudos to e-cigshop.net for being faster than buying from Intellicig directly (as usual)
The order I placed with intellicig the same day as this one has shipped, so not too much slower.

I expected as much - can't even be bothered to read the posts in this thread but just comes out with the usual tripe.

Referring to me here Alan? FYI...I did read the entire thread. I moved it because it didn't belong there (see below) and also so Intellicig could freely talk about it if they wanted since it is now in the suppliers forum.

As for being 'news', maybe the first UK produced eliquid doesn't warrant that tag?

Well if you "bother to read", here is what the news forum says: E-cigarette News Seen a news story? Feel free to comment on it in here...

So no, new products don't generally get posted in the news forum.

Anything else I can help you with?

i`ve had a 901 e-cig for 6 months or more now but researching the ingredients of the liquid put me off from using it some what. i`m very interested to see what the ingredients of the ecopure liquid are. i like smoking the e-cig i have but a safer liquid would encourage me to use it all the time. One question i have is,can you use the new ecopure liquid in other e-cigs. personnally i can`t see there been a problem, but if any one knows other wise any info would be great. cheers chris.

Hey

Just to let everyone know we have had sooo many requests for the lab report, its taken a little longer than we expected, we was promised it by last Monday but we should have it next week. We have the results in raw data format its just they are making it look nice etc.

But as Crossbow shows below the full content list as printed on the bottle, i'm not sure I agree with the comment about the cheap bottles, it took us a long time to source these with child proof caps! I guess the look of a bottle is an opinion :)

Kind Regards

The fact that child proof bottles are being used is great, my most recent shipment of carts were in white child proof containers(close out sale from a Canadian supplier shutting down due to Health Canada ruling that e-cigs not being allowed to be sold by companies in Canada due to being a unknown product).
Where they serve a important safety function, like preventing my kids from accidentally getting into them, I fully approve. I use a safe to store my kit, but this makes my wife a lot happier, and she has recommended I start getting all my supplies from Intellicig.

Other suppliers sell liquid with child resistant caps but the bottles are glass which somewhat defeats the object. Intellicig seem to take safety seriously and their carts also come in child resistant reclosable containers.
Menthol's my favourite and Fresh is good for using as a base.

A lot of it is down to opinion, that's for sure. The most important part is that its child safe, but a medicine bottle isn't as visually appealing as a glass one, and Intellicigs very understated branding kinda contributes to the medicine bottle look. Having said that, fancy packaging pushes the price up without much in return, so while cheap is the impression it gives its not really a complaint as for a UK made product, it's very reasonably priced. :)

My only real 'complaint' is that the rich tobacco I ordered hasn't arrived, and I'm dying to try it :p

Just to let you know that ALL UK cartridge & e-liquid shipments are all now in child proof bottles.

Some suppliers just supply a token container to store a few carts in but we feel that safety is far too important to scrimp on a few pence.

Also a BIG thank you for everyone who has ordered ECOpure (Our UK Manufactured Liquid) we are very busy sending out hundreds of bottles and I know we have production staff in today on the UK bank holiday to cope with the demand.

Kind Regards

So far I've tried the Rich tobacco, and Fresh.... both are nice, in their own way. Fresh is an essentially unflavoured liquid, with a very smooth clean taste, so ideal for DIY flavouring. Rich tobacco reminds me of a cross between a nice generic tobacco flavour and virginia flavour, so pretty much exactly as it says on the label :p
I tried them both in the Titan (510) and they are very smooth..... the titan can be a bit harsh. I'd recommend both of them... just depends what you are looking for taste wise, really.

I've now tried menthol (very high) & rich tobacco (high). Both give loads of vapour although I'd say the latter gave slightly more than the former. Neither has a great throat hit but I'm probably not the man to judge on that as I haven't considered anything (including TW 36 mg menthol) to have a great throat hit.

As to taste, I barely detected any menthol in the menthol. If I had been given it and asked to guess the flavour I'd have said Fresh (not that I've tasted that yet). That's not to say I didn't like it. In fact I liked it better than the TW 36 mg which tastes much more menthol like but was leaving me with a taste I was beginning to associate with lemon washing up liquid.

The rich tobacco had a very strong taste but I'm not sure what of. It also leaves a slight odour in the room which my wife says is a not unpleasent vanilla like smell.

Because of the vapour and strong taste I'd say the rich tobacco is the nearest I've felt to smoking a real cigarette since I started vaping. Given it was high strength and scored better than the very high menthol makes me think I should maybe try some lower strengths to see if I still get the same hit and vapour. I'd also like to try the tobacco and fresh flavours. In this respect I wish intellicig would break new ground and have a trial pack of 10 carts made from a variety of the ecopure juices and strengths. Maybe something along the lines of very high, medium and zero in two of the flavours and high and low in the other two. In the meantime even being able to buy a trade pack with 10 different flavours/strengths would help.

One other important fact. This was my first experience of vg juice and after 3 days vaping it I think it's safe to say it's agreeing with me a lot better than the pg. With the pg I was often hoarse and I felt as though it was giving me a slight wheeze. So far, I've not noticed anything like that with the vg although I'm still getting the stuffy nose and dry mouth in the morning.

Okay, I got the Ecopure Rich Tobacco 24mg today and I'm not sure what to think. On the one hand, it is very fresh and light but on the other hand, I can't say that I am getting much flavour at all (but then I thought that with British Bulldog which everyone else seems to rave about so maybe my taste buds are just f****d). It's more than just plain glycerine (which I've tried believe it or not), but it's just not strong or barely noticible. I'd say it has less flavour than the TW unflavoured (PG).

In the EVO really nothing at all (compared with their normal carts which are really tasty). With the Screwdriver however, there is a slight flavour, quite pleasant in some ways but difficult to describe - as the previous person said, "fresh" springs to mind. Since I have the rich tobacco, the normal tobacco flavour must be very subtle indeed.

The one notable thing I will say is that it's not very sweet which, given the ingredients, does say something.

I've never been one to experience this so-called "throat hit" so I can't really comment on that. The vapour production is good, as is to be expected with any glycerine based liquid.

Would I buy it again? Yes probably, because I prefer VG over PG and the only other choice is JC and e-cigs.co.uk seems to be permanently out of stock in most of the flavours.

[EDIT - as an aside, for vapers who are concerned about vaping mystery flavourings, this would be a good choice given that it does have some flavour, the ingredients are few (& listed) and the flavourings fairly minimal]
