Thought would try the ecopure from

Electronic Cigarettes, Electric Cigarette, E-Cigarettes, E-Cig, E-Liquid

I went for the regular which is described as :-

Regular has a tobacco flavour which has been formulated to reproduce the taste and texture of our refilled cartridges whilst maintaining its natural pure taste. Available in different strengths, each with a distinctive 'throat hit'

I purchased the medium strength which equates to 15mg according to bottle, which is a pill box style white bottle with safety cap. Also included is a syringe with thin nozzle adaptor to make filling carts easier!

I used the liquid on a empty new cart to make sure wouldn`t get taste of other liquid although all I have at moment is regular tobacco anyhow!

There not much I can tell you about the taste! The vapour is very good that about all I can say there is no taste IMO whatsoever! I have been vaping it most of the day indeed so much so gave myself a nicotine headache!

This Is just my opinion so would like to hear from others who`ve tried it to see if it just me?

The syringe will come in very handy for filling 5ml bottles but the liquid itself will be put on standby!

Bit disappointing as I actually like the cart taste of prepacked carts!

overall

taste 0/10

vapour 8/10

I got some ECOpure with my 510 kits from innovaper and I like it. It is smooth, it doesn't have any sort of flavoring to it, like banana or menthol, etc. But I think it is great! I didn't know if I would like it or not. I do. I think the one I got is full. Maybe since yours doesn't have much taste, you could try adding a flavoring to a little bit and see how it tastes.

That my point there no taste ha-ha! As you say will be ok for adding something to it, but it sold as tobbacco flavour which it is clearly not IMO not even a hint of flavour?

Will keep on back burner for adding too something at a later date no doubt!

I too found a lack of taste when I first tried ECOpure liquids.

However, once I switched away from PG liquids to only VG based liquids I was able to tase the liquids properly. It basically took about a week of soley vaping VG to get the full flavour (this may be because I am sensitive to PG and my sinuses were irritated at the time).

I will probably be ordering some more ECOpure Regular soon.

I'm a big ECOpure fan. It produces tons of vapor. More than any other juice I've tried.

It comes in Rich, Regular, Mild, Free and Menthol flavors. I prefer the Rich right now. I've described the taste as very much like real smoke. More so than the so-called tobacco flavored juices, most of which taste more like caramel to me. ECOpure Rich has a very subtle but complex flavor. It has no sweetness, and that's why it seems not to have much flavor at first. You have to alter your expectations so that you're not looking for that sweet undertone. ECOpure is not sweet. It's dry and a little bitter with a range of almost peppery overtones. It's a bit of an acquired taste, but once I used it for a couple of days I really got into how it tastes. It's my vape of choice right now.

The Fresh (unflavored) version seems like it should be a great base for DIY flavorings. It's absolutely without flavor. I use the 25mg very high version, which gives a great throat hit.

I have some Regular, Medium, Fresh and Menthol on order to fill out my collection. I'm particularly interested in the Menthol flavor, which I hear has a great bite to it. Less like menthol cigarettes and more like cold tasting vapor.

Hope that helps anyone who's interested in ECOpure. I'd highly recommend that everyone try it, especially if you, like me, don't really like the strongly candy flavored juices.

I'm in agreement with you Mufftrix, there is almost no taste. I got a 3ml sample with the recharger kit. Good vapor and hit but no real taste.

Now the Rich is another matter, lots of flavor but I really can't identify what it tastes like. It is sweet, almost like cotton candy. The jury is still out on this one. I love the vapor and hit!

I've been vaping for just over 3 weeks (having smoked analogs for over 40 years). My wife is a life-long nonsmoker (and nonvaper). I read through this thread because my wife believes she is having a negative reaction to second-hand vape. [Her symptom - constricted chest and difficultly breathing - is very real. Whether it is due to my vaping is unclear.]

I was curious about the ingredients, so I visited the intellicig website and read (the first page of) an April 3, 2009 report (PDF document) by "a UK University." According to that "report" (by an unnamed party on stationary without letterhead), the contents of ECOpure are indeed very pure (99+%) and consist of: nicotine, glycerol, and ethyl maltol.

I've heard of nicotine;) and Wikipedia confirmed my suspicion that glycerol is the same thing as glycerin (i.e., VG). But ethyl maltol? Per Wikipedia:
This chemical has a sweet odor that can be described as caramalized sugar and cooked fruit. It is an important flavourant for the food, beverage, and fragrance industry. Ethyl maltol is non-toxic, highly pleasant to human sense of smell, and easily detected by the human, with as little as 10 parts per million perceivable in air.
Interesting, since so many folks here have commented on its bland flavor.

It all seems innocent enough. My main concern at this point (other than the cost, especially for a Yank like me), are all the caveats I indicated in my second paragraph. I am immediately suspicious of anonymity posing as an authoritative source.

I like ECOpure as well. If I could get the Janty's RY4 and Cappuccino monkey off my back... ;-)

I agree with much of what you say except I do taste a flavor in Fresh - in fact it is my favorite ECOpure and to me has an RY4 note.(this off a clean atty). Rich for me is close to what you describe and I like straight 'smoke' flavor. No other juice I've tried gives the amount of vapor as ECOpure - by far. In fact, the vapor lingers in the air a bit as well.

It seems people react to it very differently. I can barely taste the mint in the menthol. It tastes more smokey than minty to me.
Same here. I notice a bit of a natural mint flavor when I exhale, and overall, it's almost dead-on with a Nat Sherman Hint of Mint cigarette to me.

As far as the OP goes, my experience with Regular is pretty much the same. I don't taste much on the draw, but I'm getting a strange seaweed type of aftertaste.

(Both based on the VH / 24mg liquids)

I'm deffinatley a fan of ECOpure...and the ingrediants are unmatched. The flavors are more limited, but the quality is superb. Innovapor has a line of ECOpure products, and they are getting Ultra High Nicotine in soon in 30ML bottles. If you use the Drakefire coupon code you get 10% off any purchase. Can't beat that with a stick. Plus he's carrying a stock of JOYE510s and EVOs at a really awsome price.

I'm ordered the Fresh flavor next...heard good things about it.
