I have seen a LOT of folks saying Efest lies about the specs on their batteries. Since I would prefer to not have a mod explode or melt down in my hand and next to my face I ere on the side of caution and take it as say. I treat the few that I have as 20 amp. Not worth the risk. Unless you like visits to the burn ward and the ER. I'd stick with the Real/not fake Sony's and Samsungs etc. The word is that mfg of batteries is a lot of expense so many like all the ones that have FIRE in the name and Efest just buy another companies and put a new skin on them. Most if not all lie about the realistic specs on them after that repackaging. Surprised they get away with it and have not had their .... in lawsuits or some sort of class action. This practice is very dangerous. SO Err on the side of caution please. Don't want to end up on the 6pm new as "another Vaper is injured FILL IN THE BLANK".

I have those as well. If you look at the spec sheet they are indeed identical to the LGs. They are 20 amps. I understand when people say not to trust companies that rewrap their batteries and list the 35amp max instead of the 20amp continuous, but it seems kinda silly to me. How can the efests both be crap and rewrapped LGs that are fine? I've been using mine without any trouble.

I use my efeast with sub ohm coils and have had no problem. It is the burst of the battery that I understand is important. I don't think that hitting the fire button and leaving it on is a good idea. Not to mention I don't know why you would. but 3, 4, or 5 second burst are about the norm. There are a few charts and graphs on batteries take a look at them and see where that one falls.

As has been said already those would be fine if you treat as 20a. I've noticed that all the local Vape shops around me either use the samsungs or the Efest's. I've personally never heard of any of them complaining about the efest's, however none of them are subohm vaping (although again, they're just rewraps so they can only be as bad as the originals, which I'm not calling bad lol). I just bought some vct4's. They aren't that much more expensive and its what almost everyone online reccomends (the vct series not necessarily the vct4s)

What's everyone's opinion on building a coil to the batteries Amp rating? If the battery is rated at 20amp continous would you stay in the mid range like 10 amps?

For the lowest resistance rating, I'll go Battery Continuous Draw Rating, subtract about 2 amps, and then my the time I factor in any voltage drop of the mod, I'm sitting comfortably inside a buffer zone.

The efest purple 2500 mAh are indeed rewrapped LG he2s. The lg is 20 amps, not 35, but it's a great 20 amp battery. Rewrapping is a common practice and nothing to be too worried about as long as you have the true specifications of the battery - and always go by the continuous discharge rating, not the notoriously unreliable pulse rating. There are no 18650s with a higher cdr than 30 amps, but the Sony vtc4 and vtc5 with that cdr are difficult to get ahold of nowadays. 20 amp batteries such as the lg he2 (purple efest 2500 mAh) and Samsung 25r are good alternatives.

Believe none of what you hear until verified and only half of what you see. :)

I've been rotating a pair of purple 35 A 2500 Efests for a year or more now and they seem to have an edge in vape time over my older AW 2200's, my black and silver 2250 Efests, and my Black EH 2250 batts. I vape at about 2.5 amps, so I'm only into vape time, not stressed out amp loads.

My almost 3 year old AW 2000's still vape well, although the charge curve is shortened a little from heavy rotational use.
