Since my cartos ran dry I have been refilling them with some flavorless 75/25 pg/vg mix at about 25mg/ml that I mixed while I wait on some flavor to arrive. I have almost finished 4ml of this in just under 2 days, so I am assuming from those numbers that I am ingesting about 50mg of nicotine a day. Based on what I was smoking right before I made the switch, and the lack of nicotine poisoning symptoms, I don't see how that is possible.

So I was wondering about the efficiency of vaporization. Is some of the nicotine destroyed in the process? Is it based on how long I hold it in before exhaling? What happens to the nicotine left in the vapor I exhale?

The general consensus is that nic absorption is much lower when vaping than with smoking tobacco - but what the exact figure is, no one seems sure.

So you're vaping 2ml a day of 25mg - do you feel sick? light-headed? have a headache?
No?

So don't worry - your body will tell you when you've had enough. I vape around 3ml of 25mg a day without issues.
