hello. I am new to forum. I have been reading threads and learning new things a lot.
but there is problem that I couldn't find answer from reading through forum for days.

I use PG100% 48mg nicotine, PG 100% base.
mostly make 16mg nicotine liquid I make.
I have used some FA flavor, flavor apprentice, LorAnns.
start with 10% flavor and go up if weak.
with some of flavor, I do taste flavor and feel nicotine but very little vapor. I can see vapor inside of atomizer but not much vapor come out with exhale.
flavor I remember that happened was
FA coffee espresso
flavor apprentice chai tea, cola, hazelnut
I thought about 100%PG might be the problem but with same base with different flavor, I can have decent flavor and vapor.
is there some flavors need trick or two to get vapors?

I'd appreciate if anyone can help me out. Thanks

If you are using a atomizer are you flooding the atty? If you do then you will not get much vapor. VG instead of PG will give more vapor. You might try adding some VG to your mix next time. I have not personally seen much difference with the different flavors and vapor production.

Just ordering juice in different pg/vg ratio's makes a difference. I imagine it's the same with DIY. For example, I like the menthol juice I vape in 70pg/30vg. I've order the same peach juice in 100%PG, 80/20, 70/30 and 60/40. For that particular juice to me the 60/40 is best.

I can't help you a lot with DIY since I'm new at it too- and not very good. But you definitely get more vapor with VG added.

Some flavors mess w/ vapor production.

PG:VG ratio aprox 70:30 often produces big clouds.

Sometimes bumping up VG improves vapor.

Some flavors are difficult to work with; like dark ones. Some leave solid deposits on the wick which greatly reduces atty performance. When working w/ dark juice I clean atty frequently. When vaping unflavored and some clear flavors I can go weeks between cleanings. I only use unflavored or clear flavors in my best attys and carts.

thanks Nicliq!
FA coffee espresso isn't great? I love their flavors. so far all flavors I got from them are wonderful.
first coffee flavor I got was LorAnns coffee but it was too dark color and I couldn't have enough guts to vape it... :(

Yes, I love it. I also mix it with cocoa from FlavourArt (less than 1% coffee expresso and 5% cocoa). Cappuccino from Capella is also very good - you can use it by itself, but I add one drop of coffee expresso to a 15 ml bottle.

It is weird how some flavors seem to need more VG, especially coffee since so little flavoring is needed.
