I like the knife. And that leather looks great. The stitching is a really nice touch. It seems there are multiple version of this unit. Watching a few YouTube reviews, I also saw various packaging. Some came in that clear plastic box, others in a flip top black box, which I received. I've never seen that leather in a photo or review before.

I think there's two versions. The one in the plastic box doesn't come with the Lipo and the one in the cardboard box, like ours does. I think they all come with the carbon fiber panel but the other panels is whatever they put in the box. Not 100% on that but it's what I've observed.

It did not come with the Lipo or the extra panels. I got the extra panels from their US distributor believing they were full metal sleeves. Much to my surprise they're only stickers. I might try to get that one removable panel 3d printed so I can swap at least one side out.

Who is their US distributor? All I found was their "corporate" lost vape website in China, which appears to have never been fully developed beyond some placeholder photos and text. Even Support leads to nothing.

It's alldayvapes365.com. Although they only deal with wholesale accounts, they were among the most helpful group of people I've dealt with in a long time. I just sent them an email for my panels/stickers. Never done a vendor shoutout, and can't really for a wholesaler, but these folks deserved one in my books. There's also a Jason on facebook from SMY itself who passed on that info to me, and he deserved 2 large thumbs down. Not Very helpful, 2 large thumbs down, except for that distributor name.

Thank you! Bookmarked. Oh, I found the leather wrap version on VaporDNA. It really is a nice look. I have the Triade as well which has the leather back, and was impressed with the look and feel of it.

So glad I found this thread. Mine just arrived today thanks to some freedom day sales.

    1) how does one go about removing the panel's? I tried with the tiniest flathead I have and I almost scratched the mod.

    2) Has anyone found they've been getting a sticky button with the Lipo? Cause mine sticks like a ..... I think the wires are pressing against the back of the board causing the button to jam.

So far I love the fit and finish. I just can't use it until I grab some 18650's :/

I used some curved needle nosed tweezers to grab the panel at the corner and pull it up. Once I had a "flap" up, I pulled using even tension with my fingers to remove it. What panel did it some with? Mine had the carbon fiber, which is a fairly think piece of vinyl. The wood panel veneers are extremely thin, and I have not seen anyone able to remove them in one potentially reusable piece.

As to the Lipo, check out one or two YouTube videos one making the swap. Just a matter of getting the cables back in the same position. I have my Lipo in and no button problems with it.

Very Nice Char! They both look great. If you don't mind me asking, which one do you prefer in person?

Nice drip tip and band to go with it! The red looks really good offset with the black carbon fiber sides.
I agree, I think it might look even better with a Black atty on top. Red and Black look good together imo (match the Carbon Fiber sides as well - Matchy, Matchy :D). Just a thought.

    Cheers,
    Steve

Thanks Eskie! When my wife saw me with it this morning she said, "wow that's really nice, love the red." she's has never said anything like that about any of my mods. Glad she didn't ask how much it cost. LoL

That's a tough question WingsFan. I guess if someone had a gun to my head and said I had to give up one I'd keep the silver one. But that could change.

I'll have put one of my black tanks on it tonight. Love my Lemo 2 but it doesn't come in black.

How about the black vape band?

Looks good, too. Nice offset. A black tank would look pretty nice on there, especially with the red drip tip to top it off.

So now this one arrived, are you going to swap panels around on your silver?

Funny you should ask, I have been thinking about swapping the panels on the silver. I just having trouble deciding.

You guys were right she looks great in black..

Hey I was just wondering I've been starting to have a little bit of trouble with my temp control on my duo using my tobeco velocity , sometimes I get a hella hard Vape at like 320 degrees then it will hardly produce any vapor and i have to end up bumping it up to like 400 to get a decent Vape, im using the 316L elite csv file from steam engine...i don't know it's starting to remind me of my damn cuboid I was just wondering if anybody else is having the same issue... I've checked all my connections cleaned my 510 made sure my post screws are very tight I don't know it's just a little frustrating

I have not had any issues with my Duo. Have you tried using device monitor to see what the device is doing during vaping? Also are you getting a consistent ohm reading?
