I use 808 cartos. The adapters used (510-808) have a screw that allows the user to adjust the airflow. As far as the cone, i used a drill bit and drilled from the inside, and it widens the cone with no peeling paint problems.
I tried a 510 carto and it honestly was not much different. Most times 808's are cheaper, just because they are older and more people carry them, but i am sure that the 510 will drop in price to be equal.
either way, 510 or 808, i highly recommend adding a drip tip to the carto. No
juice in mouth after a refill. i still fill my cartos as normal, but instead of the rubber top, the drip ttip goes into place. Some cartos can run hot and the tip keeps the lips from getting burnt.
