I officially took my ego to work yesterday. The battery lasted me for about 35 hours (fully charged) untill the light started blinking. I am also stoked that I don't have to charge the battery every hour anymore! The only problem did encounter was that the wall plug part that came with the unit popped. I am ok with it and just glad that it can be separated an just plug in for a power source via USB.

I have five Riva eGo batteries, all of which were ordered in Nov 2010. I rotated the batts and only used reg 510 attys. I noticed several weeks ago that the charger light wasn't changing to red anymore, even though the batts were drained, and the light on the batts were blinking when I connectedto the charger. The batts were no longer charging via the usb or wall outlet. So, I bought a new charger. Same results as with the charger I thought was broken. Next, I bought a PCC. I now have only one working eGo battery! I have given up on eGos. I use my 510's at work, Leo while driving short distances, and my favorite, P16 with LR 510 attys at home. I was very disappointed with the batts for the eGo. I thought that in rotation, they would last more than two months.

i've noticed that my Riva 750 batts are finicky about starting to charge; they take some fiddling to switch to red on the charger when plugged into my laptop's usb port, they stay green and won't charge at all on the usb ports attached to my laptop's power brick, but work as expected immediately when using the wall wart usb adapter that comes with most kits. luckily i have about 5 of those now so i leave one at most of the places i need it (work, home desk, nightstand, travel bag) but it was a dissapointment that the charger wouldn't work on the usb ports on my Lenmar laptop brick.

who was this vendor? i want to avoid dealing with whoever it is.

One extremely unhappy Boge Leo user. Atty was dead within 3 weeks, and now the battery is dead. Really teed off, esp. when I just got my two new Leo atty's for a total of $22 for nothing. And the vendor will not replace the dead battery--despite it being under 30 days.

I have two eGO 650 mAh PT batteries that I've used exclusively for about 6 weeks. So far, so good, knock on wood. And I use them constantly. Sometimes as a PT, other times, not.

I have noticed that if I plug one in just to charge via the USB on my PC, I need to let it charge until the red light goes out, and then unplug and charge some more. If I don't, it'll die fast (usually within an hour). If I do, it can last for up to 8 hrs, depending on use (without being plugged in as a PT).
