I have 2 Ego batteries. Up until yesterday both were working fine in my Ego charger, now both won't charge, or at least the light stays green.

I thought ok well obviously the charger is broken, but then I decided to try my regular 510 charger.

1 battery appears to be charging while the other is not.

So the situation is - both batteries won't charge in the Ego charger, while 1 battery will charge in the 510 charger, the light stays red when inserting the 2nd battery.

Both batteries LED flash when inserting every time.

I've cleaned the ends on everything using peroxide. Not sure what to do next.

Is it possible that both charger and 1 battery fried at the same time?

That sounds correct. Smell the battery that won't charge does it smell like burnt PC board? The charger connection is probably shot. I had one like that. Did the same thing. Fried a batt. The batt light would flash but the charger would never turn red. even after batt was fried led on bat would still flash. look at connector on charger. Mine had some solder flash and when a batt seated it made contact with the inner and outer rings. A short at that connection = fried batt. Do not use it on your good batt. Use the 510 charger, although much slower it won't kill you one good eGo. Hope this helps
