I have two Ego batteries that have had heavy use for about 2 months. One still charges, but doesnt stay charged nearly as long as it used to. The other acts like its charging, light turns green etc. Then it sometimes works, sometimes doesnt. I lifted the little post in the middle thinking I might have pushed it down screwing it in the charger too hard. Worked for a little while, now nothing. Is two months about standard time for a battery that has heavy use?

Also, I was wanting to buy the bigger batts (900 or 1000mah). Will they charge ok in my standard ego charger? What manufacturers interchange with Joye products? I dont want to get an off brand of battery and not be able to charge it. Thanks in advance.

The same thing happened to 3 of my EGO's after approx 3 months usage. I am being careful with my new one and making sure I dont screw the carto's or chargers in too hard. Its the little rubber ring that sits around the little post wearing out and then it will intermittently work and then die soon after (probably juice getting through to the electronics)

Buy a Hello016 battery they're about 20 bux and 1300mah, that's 2 of your eGo's power in 1 battery, and it will charge with your eGo charger.

How about a Riva charger??? I've heard Riva and eGo are almost the same but Riva has a slightly larger battery capacity or something.....idk im confused

Some batteries are just duff, there does seem to be a bit of a tendancy for people to overtighten connections between chargers/atomizers/batteries which is a major cause of faults. Then you have the ones that get shorted out due to a bad atomizer, if they short this way I think the light fires but the battery is dead, which I think is similar to the battery being dropped (in that the light fires but the battery doesn't). You can also ruin them with dodgy adapters as well..! They should last longer than a month though, I think Joye offer 6 months warranty (manufacturer to supplier?).
