I though maybe we the owners of the new ego booster needed a thread to discuss what atties or cartomizers we have used with our boosters and what not to use . I will start . I used an ego mega atomizer type B with a filler cartridge in it . 2 ohm . It wore my 1000 mah batteries down in 3 to 4 hours . Now the ego mega ( some times called the XL ) atomizer type B is one of my favourers and you can buy them on Jack's site . They really don't need boosting and work good but some of the claims I have heard about the booster are that even at full boost your supposed to only loose 25% vaping time on the batteries . I have tried the booster on an echo bottom coil cartomizer and I can say it works very well . I also tried it on a new G4 and it works pretty good on those . So what have you used and how did the booster do with it .

I use my boosters with my 900 mah eV Torch, 650 mah eGo pass through battery and 650 mah regular eGo.
I've used them with my ce2's (2.4-2.6ohm & 2.6-2.8ohm), Vision 3ml 3ohm ce2 clone, SMOKtech 2.0 ohm 306 Atomizer, SMOKtech Regular 510 Wide-bridge Atomizer - 2.5 ohm, Vortex/G4 bottom coil carts, Sapphire Bud Atomizer 1.5ml Tank System 510 2.2-2.4ohm
All of them have performed amazingly well. I find different juices in the different setups work at different settings well. Its a bit of a game, I start off low and then start to crank it up until it tastes funny then back it down to perfection.

As it turned out the ego mega atomizer with cartridge uses a lot of power . 5 hours without a booster on it and 4 hours with . I used a 3 ohm boge cartomizer today and a 2 ohm boge cartomizer and they where both excellent on the booster . You think the boge 2 ohm hits well , well try it on the booster wow great throat hit at under 4 volts . Here is an idea if you want lots to power to run your booster . This picture was actually taken before I got my booster . It is a portable power supply used for charging cell phones or Ipods . It didn't work on my phone but it is 5 volts contains 4x18650 batteries and works with an ego charger and ego passthrough battery .

Just a heads up to those with the booster - don't bother using it with the eGo-C. At half to full throttle - the taste becomes burnt. My initial findings with the SR heads. There is no advantage I can see with the booster & eGo-C.

Damn, I was just about to add one to my 'C'. Not doubting you Mike but any one else with similiar results?

At under 1/2 power it is ok to use the booster with SR heads but not at 1/2 or more . So a slight amount of voltage increase works OK maybe at 1/3 power or so . If the ego-C is all you use you maybe better off with LR heads although I have not tried them yet . Toronto_Mike is right , not worth it for the slight amount of increased voltage that you would be able to use .
