Hey, I've had my ego for like 2months and I've noticed the battery life after each charge gets shorter. I know this is normal, but when should i go and buy i knew battery. I can usually vape for about 45 or 50 minutes before having to charge it up again.
It should last about 250-300 recharges. After a full charge should be able to vape about 6 hrs. 45-50 mins and something's is not right. How long are you leaving it on the charger? Is it an authentic joyetech Twist?
It should have the JT logo on the bottom dial: View attachment 216640
make sure you are letting it die all the way before you recharge, that helps preserve the lifespan of the battery. Also you may have gotten a dud, it happens.
Normal charge life should be about 60 minutes for each 100mah for normal vaping (not chain vaping)
What voltage are you using and what is the listed ohms on your carto/clearo/atty ?
dual coil and really low ohms will go through charges very quickly
also the life of a typical ego style batt is 250-300 charges so if you are charging it 5+ times a day then 2 months is about right
My 650 mah twist will last me all day at work ( about 80 minutes of chain vaping total through the day - breaks - lunch - etc) 2ohm evod or vivi nova @ 3.9-4.1 volts
I always charge it when it dies, and yeah definatley not 6 hrs. but I lied i meant closer to an hour but still pretty large diffrence. and yes its authentic thanks for the feedback also
As Desmond said HF has some that are fairly inexpensive. This one $5.29 will do: http://www.harborfreight.com/7-function-multimeter-98025.html
A DM is a must for vapers as it disgnoses many problems and takes the guesswork out of the equation. Most cartos, clearos, etc are not accurate ohms wise- can be measured with the DM. Batteries, chargers also. Can also be used to test if carto, clearo is shorting out.
I had an eGo 900mAh c-twist. Quit working 4 days after I got it. Swapped it out and upgraded to a Joye eGo 900mAh Twist. I get about 8 hours out of it. Love the vape from it but I have a Vamo ordered from fasttech as well. Waiting (un)patiently for it to arrive
