Hey guys, I just got a Ego-C Twist on Black Friday over at the Totally-Wicked Bradenton Lounge (FL, USA) and I LOVE the device but I am not too thrilled about the new atty type. It seems that I cant get a full hit out of the atty and I have to take partial hits if I don't want it to go dry mid-hit. If I do a cold puff without firing the device it will pull some of the juice into the atomizer however even that doesn't seem to get enough juice in it to get a full hit. I have also tried manually priming it by directly dripping on it and that too doesn't do the trick. Any tips?

This is the atty type: 5 x Tornado eGo-C Mega Atomizer Head Regular 2.3ohm

Dude, I'm with you all the way.

I bought Joyetech eGo-C atomizer heads and can't get anything but a burned taste that gives me headaches. I've gone through 3 out of the 5 and I don't know what to do.

I'm using PG juice and the juice works just fine with my CE5. I'm very disappointed with this as I want something I can put in my pocket. The EGo-C is metal so it won't break and I trust it much more than a piece of plastic or glass in my pocket. But it just doesn't work.

A few things you can try. First, make sure all the priming fluid is out of it. You may have to blow through it onto a paper towel or napkin. That stuff tastes nasty!. Second, drip about 3 or 4 drops of juice on the wick, inside the little pointed end. Let is sit for a few minutes. Third, make sure your tank is actually allowing the juice to flow into the atty. Sometimes, if you push the tank in a little harder, then twist it a tiny bit, it will get things started. You may also have to take out the tank and re-seat it. Last, try and take a needle or a push pin and very gently push the wick down into the atty. Sometimes the wicks aren't making full contact on the coil.

The problem I've found is it depends on the attomizer. I've had some wick beautifully right out of the blister pack. Then the next wouldn't wick to save it's life. I've also had one blister pack that none of them wicked properly. Along with hrlw817's comments about using a pin to push the wick down a bit, which I've also done with some success, I've found on the ones that that won't work on I use a small pair of tweezers and pull out 2 to 4 strands of wick. It's tricky to do and you need to be careful not to pull out the whole wick. The other problem is if you pull out to many it may start leaking on you. Especially when your tank gets below half full.

I really love my eGo-C for its portability. Large tank capacity and the 650mAh twist battery is perfect. So if they could just get every atty to just work every time it would be the perfect device AFAIC.

Had the exact same problem. Pushing the wick down a tiny bit helps, but if you push it down too much, you'll get slow refill charges to the coils and/or burnt taste because you've shoved that wick down too much. If that happens, toss it. It just ain't worth trying to fix it. You can take off the rubber end piece carefully and try to push the wick back up, but I've had bad success with that.

I think these attys like really thick juices. My thin juices all seem to burn up pretty quick (day or two of use) I boil and they are fine.

Ive been using kosher 80/20 pg/vg fromwordup ecig and its really thick and these attys LOVE it. Been on one atty for 2 weeks now and its just working like a champ

edit: Im pretty sure these are the same attys i use in my eroll basically, i dont have a C
