eGo C Battery Cutting Off

I've had my eGo C for almost 4 months and it's been great! This morning I ran into an issue with both of my batteries. They are fully charged and after a few drags, the won't fire anymore. I plug it into the charger to "reset" it, and it works for a couple more drags and then the same thing. Anyone else run into this issue?

I never knew about resetting?? Do you screw your cartos on tightly? If so, you may need to pull the post up on your battery, and/or carto- please let us know how you fixed it then.

Also make sure the connectors in the battery are clean and not all juiced up.

Out of curiosity, do you leave your batteries charging for long periods of time (e.g. overnight)?

It stopped happening for the past few days. Then it did it again today. I don't leave them charging overnight ever. I am always watching them while I am at work. I always clean the connector when I change out the tanks and when I charge them. It's really bizarre.

Does the light flash when it cuts off?

I had this happen to one previous battery. I just chucked it- assumed it had met its death. Let's hear it if you find a solution.

I don't notice that it has cut off until I try to use it. Haven't chucked it yet. As long as I plug it into the charger and then take it off, it works fine again.

That's what mine would do too. Would cut off each time within first five pulls. Plug it back in for 10 seconds and it work again. Pretty worthless.

I have a week old eGo-C from TW... it charges fine at home but today while trying to get it to charge on my car usb charger I was having no luck. It kept on giving me a false charged reading but died after a few puffs.

I wonder if your power supply could be unstable. Try charging it somewhere else on a different charger.
