I've had my ego-c for about a week now. Today, I was feeling curious, and decided to get my Multi-meter out to test the Voltage of the battery. After I was satisfied with the results, I screwed a cartomizer on and proceeded to vape. Nothing. "Oops, must be turned off." 5 clicks to turn it on and nothing. I know it wasn't dead because the light had been white 5 minutes before I decided to do my testing. So I plugged it in to the charger for a few minutes, and I saw the light blink blue 3-times. Unplugged it and pressed the button, no light. So I clicked it 5 times and it didn't turn on. I screwed on a cartomizer anyways and tried to vape it. It worked...but the light didn't, and then after a few draws, vapor production diminishing with each draw, I didn't get any vapor at all. So I decided to plug it back in to the charger and let it charge for awhile to see if maybe the battery was actually just dead and if the lights that indicate charge were just malfunctioning (I believe that if it's white, it's above 50%, if it's light blue it's below 50%, and if it's under 15%, correct me if I'm wrong). All that being said, has anyone else experienced issues like this with their ego batteries?

Update:

This is kind of weird...since I'm kind of worried about exploding batteries every since I heard about that one guy who's e cig exploded in his mouth, and I always keep an eye on my charging batteries to make sure they aren't getting hot...I noticed a little bit of heat closer to the terminal, and for some odd reason (i don't know what I did this, but I decided to put the body of the battery to my cheek to check if it was hot, rather than feeling heat, I felt somewhat of a shocking sensation...kind of freaked me out, so I immediately disconnected the battery from the charger...I did the same thing with my VV ego, and nothing like that happened. So I'm guessing something is wrong with my battery and not just the light itself...HELP!!

Update 2: I noticed that when I connect my cartomizer to it, I can hear it "vaping by itself" without me even pushing the button...I think I've read about this somewhere...I will do a little more research.

I've had my eGO-C batts do squirrelly things like that before..I've had them "think" they are dead shortly after charging, and also "think" they are fully charged moments after going on the charger. I chalk it up to the little "computer" in them having a buggy moment, and I always just sit that particular batt aside til the next day...I give it a "time out" :D, they've always straightened themselves out after they've had time to think about how their behavior has affected others :D :D.
But if one of them kept on messing up, I'd either replace it or return it (if still under warranty)...a seriously malfunctioning batt is a hazard.

But in your case I'd guess that maybe you tripped the short-circuit protection inadvertently, or perhaps the batt thought it had experienced an overdraw. I doubt either would cause it to permanently stop working. If it was mine, I'd try the time-out method, and see if it gets it's act together.

Yeah, I was thinking about giving it a time-out until I felt that shock. I contacted the vendor I got it from and let them know of the issue. Luckily I have my VV to hold me over until I find out what's wrong with it. Thanks for your input, and I definitely won't be messing with this battery until I get a more clear picture of what's going on/what I should do.
