Hello all,
This is my first post on the forum! it is lengthy, but i must be descriptive, please have a patience with a newb. please know that i have done extensive searching on this issue, and i realize that there are many posts on the internet (including this forum) about this, but nothing has helped me thus far.
I am fairly new to vaping. I started on January 3rd with a junk $20 disposable e-cig that i bought at a convenience store. I quickly realized that while it did keep me off of analogs, I knew that I needed better quality.
It was not long before I ordered my G6 starter kit from halocigs.com. i love my G6, and Halo juice is fantastic!!
i started doing a lot of research on vaping and learning more about it, and i decided that I wanted more of a complex PV for when I'm at home and whatnot. I saw the Ego-C, watched and read MANY reviews, and decided I would go ahead and order a kit.
i received my kit today, and i am more than disappointed so far. assembly is not difficult, even for a beginner. i like to think im a fairly quick learner.
i followed all instructions, and decided to do the first run with Halo Tribeca juice (my favorite). Halo does not disclose their PV/VG ratio, but it is estimated to be something close to 70/30. I knew I needed to prime the atty, and here are the steps I took:
1. Blew into the atty from the battery side into a paper towel, to get rid of as much primer fluid as possible.
2. Did a few dry burns.
3. dropped a couple drops directly onto the wick spike.
I filled up my tank about 80-90% and let her rip. DISGUSTING. i mean to the point that i was gagging. i kept doing slow draws on it without inhaling just to try and get the atty going...no success.
I then swapped out the atty for a new one, took the same priming steps, yet got same results. I was beginning to get very frustrated.
----------If youve read this far, thank you very much - - - - -
Then i decided i would switch liquid. I put in some clove juice from DFWvapor.com (70/30). the results were different this time, much less of a burning flavor, easier vape, but not much flavor. still, i kept vaping on this one since it seemed more tolerable, hoping that after a while the flavor would increase.
after about 15-20min i started to become nauseous (not vaping and\y heavier than i normally do). i felt this way for almost the length of an entire movie i was watching with my wife (i obviously stopped vaping once the feeling started).
The feeling has since subsided and i am vaping on my G6 right now. I am extremely disapointed, but i really want the ego-c to work out for me. Is there any advice anyone can give?? i know its difficult when you arent sitting in front of me seeing exactly what im doing, but ive been searching the net all night trying everything ive found. nothing has helped.
anyone to the rescue? THANK YOU ahead of time!!
