So I still love my njoy and am very successfully refilling the cartos with the "condom method". I've been on the fence about an upgrade. On one hand I like the cigalike aspect of the eRoll, on the other I already have one (the njoy). My question is has anyone gone from an njoy, BLU or something similar to the eRoll and if so was it significantly different? I'm also quite curious to know if anyone has BOTH the eRoll and eGo C that can compare? I'm looking at Rocky Mountain Vapor kits...they have the ego c with a mini ViVi Nova kit OR a Vision Cleromizer...they're only $2 different, can anybody tell me which they'd prefer and why? For $2 I don't care about the cost...too many damn choices! For what it's worth Dave at RM has been very helpful answering my questions thus far, not that I feel he's pushing a sale or anything, but he commented the Mini ViVi set up is his most popular kit...just curious what this community has to say. I don't want to sit on the fence for ever! Thanks in advance for your input.

Is FastTech legit? Thought I saw some comments on here about knock offs from them...5 minutes googling and I can't find the eroll at fasttech's site, unless it's wrong to google "fast tech e cig". 5 minutes on google is like a lifetime, I give up already :) Anyway, I'm a field sales guy, Dave's earned my business, I just have to figure out what I want. I'm happy to pay a couple bucks for service and his prices seem way competitive anyway.

It's a good choice. I went from Blu disposable and smoking cigarettes to the eRoll and off 'em in 24 hours. WAY better than Blu but again, they were the disposable kind. I almost bought the Blu kit, but then I found ECF and decided I would be happier with the eRoll. I used it exclusively and happily for about 7 weeks, now I have a spinner/evod combo for home and I use the eRoll at work.

I have no idea how the eRoll compares experience-wise to the NJoy: I hear they're pretty good but don't last long. You won't have that problem with the eRoll if you get the extra cone to make 2 units. They'll last you all day easily if you use one while the other one's charging. eRoll's gonna be heavier since the whole thing's metal.

Check out the eRoll threads in the model specific forum--you'll find a bunch of stuff over there.

If you like the cigarette form factor its hard to beat the eRoll. It will definitely provide a superior vape to your NJOY.

Lots of people on the eRoll thread have gotten their eRolls from Rocky Mountain Vapor and seem pleased. Use the code 20rocky to bring down the price. I love Fast Tech but it hardly seems worth the savings to wait for delivery from China.

If you're a light smoker the eRoll is perfect.
Battery Info: 100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before recharge is needed

eRoll- batts are only 90 mah BUT the PCC (personal charging case) is 1000 mah- vape a little bit an put battery back in PCC for charging. Fires at 3.7 volts.
The juice delivery device (holds and vaporizes the juice) are proprietary. Cartridges are .6 ml. Replacement batteries are inexpensive- $10.00.

ego c- batts are either 650, 900 or 1000 mah. Fires at 3.3 volts. Threading is 510 so you can use many different juice delivery systems on it

In regards to the eGo Kits the EGO-C and Mini ViVi Nova Kit - $60.00 : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes is better IMO. It has the Vision brand Vivi Nova Tanks. I've been using them for 10+ months without issue. Heads are easy (10 secs) and cheap ($2.00) to change. My heads are lasting 10+ weeks. I have used the Vision Clearo and found them lacking in quality. The Mini Vivi Nova holds 1.6 ml juice.
Best of Luck

I have both the ego-c and the Eroll, each for certain reasons. Eroll when I want something very small, but the ego I use daily. If I had to do it all over again, I'd get the ego-T kit with evod tanks. That's what I use now, and would have saved money had I got the ego-T in the first place. Now my ego-c cones just collect dust, plus they always leaked a little bit, the evods don't.

I wouldn't expect the roll to be "way better" than an NJOY king.

I would agree about the eRoll not being "way better" than the NJOY Kings. However, the OP is using the NJOYs with replaceable cartomizers rather than the NJOY Kings. Those are two totally different animals.

The NJOY King is completely disposable and comes loaded with a huge 30mg or 45mg of nicotine punch. It has an airier draw than a pre-filled cartomizer used on the NJOY that the OP is using. Also, the maximum nicotine level NJOY offers with their replaceable cartomizers is 18mg.

I've seen several posts from people whose first choice for vaping would be the NJOY King were it not for the ridiculous price of $8 for what amounts to less than half a pack of cigarettes despite what NJOY claims. Offhand, I can't recall anyone who has expressed any long-term satisfaction with the NJOYs with the replaceable cartomizers although I expect there might be a handful. The eRoll would outperform that type of NJOY quite handily.

I would tell you two things: Joye tech is the Marlboro of e cigs. They make a great product and if you are coming from a brand like NJoy, the eRoll will be a step up. However, I would be remiss if I thought the eRoll was a good purchase for someone who is ready to take the next step up in vaping. You really should get an eGo. If the size is a big deal for you, get a mini ego. Either way, with a clearomizer, it is much less complicated and you can probably get a good set up with juice for around the same price. More power, less charging, and it will take much longer to grow out of.

^^^I'm not sure why you think the eRoll would be more difficult to use than an Ego type battery. There is nothing the least bit complicated about the charging and the tank cartridge for juice is about as easy as it gets for a beginner to cope with. A small, unregulated eGo won't provide a consistent quality vape as the battery runs down as opposed to the eRoll which is regulated and stays fully charged for the day because it lives in the PCC case when not being used.

I have an unregulated eGo-C which I never use as apposed to my eRoll which not only gets used for my go-to out and about device but for the times I want the psychological familiarity of a cig-alike at home. I think the eRoll is a great choice for even an advanced vaper who has the occasional need for a discreet, attractive cig-alike that provides an impressive vape for its diminutive size.

I quit smoking with an eGo-c kit.
Produces a fine amount of vapor, and with a mini-viva...
Is something you will use for awhile.

I have a bunch of mods now...and have the eRoll.
I use it daily at work for stealth Vaping with my DIY 18mg Green Apple juice.
The size is perfect, and with the PCC- I could vape as much as I a could get away with.;)
The tank is small. It's not ment to be 'Primary' vape gear....
Just something to take out and about.

So, if you're looking for an upgrade...
Get the eGo kit.

If you can deal with a larger device than a cig-alike I would suggest passing on the regular eGos and moving to a VV Twist type kit. My vote for the most likely candidate for the junk drawer aside from most cig-alikes is an unregulated eGo battery. A regulated eGo would be better but not as good as going to variable voltage.

I have five Twist-type devices and my favorite of the bunch is the EGO Twist Ultra Kit at Vapor Beast. The numbers are easy to read, the button has a solid clicky feel and the light changes color as the battery depletes so you aren't surprised by a dead battery. Also, the build quality is the best of the bunch including the Joyes and Spinners. However, from posts I've read some of the other "off-brands" are junk.

The variable voltage means that you can simple dial in the temperature of the vape you prefer. Just always start low and dial up. If it's set too low you won't get any vapor, if it's too high the juice will start to taste burnt. Pick what you like that's in between.

This video is about Twists but the Spinner and other variable voltage devicework on the same principle.

This the ego C/T batterys are beasts. The ego tank system is an expensive leaky nightmare. I started with the Ego-C with the ego tank system and 2 weeks in was replacing the tanks with clearomizers. In my case CE5's. Between leaking and the temperamental but expensive atomizers the ego tank system was an exercise in frustration for me.
