First Post~! Just started vaping and really enjoy it. Stopped analogs completely. My first PV was an Ego-C from the advice given to me at altsmoke.com. When I received it, I thought it was great...all is well...Then I found myself wanting more battery power, so I went with a Bolt PV with a 510 equipped 3ml tank. The flavor difference is HUGE. No more burned or roasted taste. I was amazed. I really like the size of the Ego for when I am at work or traveling. Am I doing something wrong or is this the nature of the Ego-C atty?
Thanks

Burnt or roasted taste on the ego-C usually is caused by liquid flow problems, or your wick is burnt and needs to be cleaned or replaced. Or heating coil is all gunked up.

I had similar issues with my eGo-C, it can be fixed. Sometimes its enough to just use a needle and shove the wick a little further down into the atomizer (carefully, only about a milimeter or two). Best results, however, i've always had with replacing the wick with steel mesh.

i need help...
i bought an ego c two weeks ago and it was working great until i tried changing the atomizer. when i put the new one in, the led light would flash and then turn off the ecig. when i put the old atomizer back in it worked for a couple more days but now the same thing is happening. when i take out the atomizer and just have the battery connected to the atomizer cone it turns on but when i put in an atomizer the light flashes and it goes out

any idea what's going on?

When you seperate the base and battery, as long as the battery lights, it should be good. Put your ego together in this order - battery, base, atty, cone, tank. If that doesn't work, start swapping out parts, inexpensive first (atty) then base, then cone. Eventually you should resolve the problem. If it continues then contact your supplier to see if they will swap out the battery. Hope that helps!

First guy: Prolly just need to clean the atty (my shop recommended everclear). That being said I didn't spend much time using the tank atty that came with it before I switched to clearomizers. MUCH better IMO. Also the EGO can be used with a 510 tank if you're up for that. Just need a collar for it to keep the tank from sliding down too far and allow you to prime it. The Bolt probably kicks the EGO around the street a bit but the EGO always makes a nice backup or convenient carry device so I think it's a good idea to keep after it as such.

Second guy: I'd think bad atty, happens sometimes.
