ego c twist 1000 mah problems

a friend handed over an ego c twist 1000mah to me cos it wast charging or vaping. i have 3 other batteries and two chargers and all the others are working in fine order. i tried pulling the center pin up on the battery to try to get it to make a connection with the charger but to no avail. the connections are squeaky clean but still nothing. just seeing if anyone had any ideas before i completely disassemble it for fun.

If you do decide to take it apart please be very careful the lithium gel stuff inside starts on fire when it contacts air.
