Ok, so today, I go into a shop on my way to work, for more juice, and pick up a 2nd evod bcc clearomizer. I wanted 2 to be able to switch between liquids easily,. anyway, soon after I buy my clearomizer, put my new juice in it, and put it on my battery, my battery's button starts flickering, no vape...along with a bit of juice on the battery. I try my 1st evod, same thing....I finally find out later on in the day, if I don't twist it on all the way, it works. Also, I used to keep it as 1 complee peice throughtout teh day which I found out today, i'm not supposed to do.

My question is, what's wrong with my battery???

Sounds like the button got pushed down a bit. You could take a nail file and gently lift the button up a bit. Not sure about the twisting all the way to get it to work though. I keep the clearos on mine all the time. I've been using one for almost 7 months with no issues. It's always got a tank on it.

Sometimes if you tighten them down to tight they will do that. When you put them together tighten until you feel them connect then 1/4 to 1/2 a turn more. You want it snug but not tight.

A little juice in the connection is also normal just be sure to clean it out each time you change the battery.

I have never heard not to leave them together all day. If i'm not going to be using a tank for a while I will take the unused tank off but only because I rotate my batteries.

Just as a quick note, some of these batteries have a floating center pin.

As mentioned before over tightening may cause a short which would explain why loosening helps.

I have seen a worn bent pin cause this without over tightening, also watch the juice buildup cleaning is recommended to keep it from sticking in the down position which may cause your unit not to fire.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like you might have had a leaking clearo or something, there have been people that have had juice leak out of their tanks past the 510 connector and the rubber grommet at the bottom into the batteries shorting out the circuitry on the PCB inside the head.

Does the led flicker like a shorting light, or does it flash rhythmically?

After further reading it seems like you might have pushed the center pin down too far...try the below

Don't hork down on the head, it smashes the rubber grommet and pushes the head down too low, it can also short out the system if it goes too low, same goes for the charger, gently snug it down once you feel the center connectors on the head touch (the head may even feel loose or wobbly...that is ok, you just don't want to OVERTIGHTEN it)

Just as a quick note, some of these batteries have a floating center pin.

ALL 510 devices, cigalikes up to Provari have a "center pin" if you overtighten the head it shoves that pin down, most have a sealing gasket, cranking it all the way down can literally crush that gasket which could lead to the the center pin shorting to the frame...the above method works with all 510 rig low or pushed in pin issues as well...

Good first post by the way, next stop...introduction :p

Oh and welcome! :D
