I'm personally not familiar with the Aspire CE5, but it sounds like your connections aren't meeting. To start off make sure your connections are clean. Is the connection pin in your battery clean or is there residue on it? Clean it out with a Q-tip. Is the coil tight in the Aspire CE5 allowing the maximum amount of the connection side to push out? If neither of those are the issue, then you may just have to get a little flat head screw driver and pull up your connection pin in your battery just a hair to allow your atomizer to connect. Be slow and gentle with it, giving it a little wiggle by putting the flat head down in between the pin and the rim and wiggling it upwards around the pin in increments. You only need to have it come up a hair.
I apologize if my directions aren't clear, but I'm sure there are a few videos of it on Youtube.
