Ok, I am upgrading to a ego twist but I don't know what atomizer, clearomizer or what to get with it.

I have Volt 70mm with clearomizers at the moment and I am fairly happy with them except for getting a burnt taste after smoking it for a while (probably my fault.) I have had the v2 with the disposable carts also and that is about the extent of my vaping experience with vaping and I am looking for more flavor so I can kick my analog habit for good.

I have been researching for a bit and like the lavatube and the provari (i know) because of the variable voltage and people liking the vapor production and flavor. Problem is that I probably can't be seen using that out in public in my work van. I really need to stay with something a little bit smaller like cigar size.

I would like to know If the ego-twist would be good for me, I am a HEAVY smoker like 2+ pack a day. What can I do to prevent the burnt taste? After the battery what e-liquid delivery system should I use?

Thank you so much for helping me out with this, so many options out there. My wife is going to get one also but she is purely for flavor and she is not a heavy smoker.

the Twist goes with me when i go out or im at work on the go, and it performs my friend. It wouldn't be so popular if it wasn't sorta good right? lol I use a vivi mini nova at 1.8 ohm on mine when im going to be out and about for a while, otherwise a boge 510 low resistance carto and a 5ml dripper bottle if needed. You seem like you have a good idea of what parameters your rig will need to meet, so let me begin with the eGo Twist.

It fits your size req.
you can use tanks with it so no need to constantly fill
i have larger hands but not huge and mine can be completely concealed in my hand (except the tank or carto)
the 1000mAh should last you all day at an 8 hour job BUT since they are so cheap i keep one fully charged in the car or in my james bond pocket of my jacket.
to prevent the burnt taste do what i do, if using wicks tip or roll to keep the wicks wet, when getting low sometimes the juice wont wick as fast as you are vaping. if using a carto make sure you fully fill to start and keep it topped up, use the condom method or taryn spin to get the juice in there good, a standard boge will hold about 1-1.2ml around 25 drops or so, the solution to that is an XL 510 carto or XXL 510 carto, it will require less topping up.

there are several options on eGo style batteries, and for the money, the Twist is excellent but i always suggest a vv Innokin or a Kgo

if you have any questions (i know it's a lot of info) just hit me or anyone up im new to the forums but everyone here is very helpful. Take care!

I second the vivi nova minis. They work well on the twist with the 1.8 or 2.4 heads. If you're trying to decide between the two, I'd recommend the 1.8 heads. Be sure to pick up a thread cover - it will make it look much nicer and you'll be able to use a standard ego lanyard, if that's something that interests you.

thread cover for ego + vivi nova mini - many vendors sell these, not just GV.

A twist is nice but the battery life is not for me. I went to a big battery mod "Silver Bullet" my back up is a second bullet. The 18650 2000mAh battery will last me a full day even with a kick and I do vape hard :vapor:

What heads are right for you is almost as elusive as what flavors are right for you anymore. It's not like the old days when you used an atty & cartridge if you wanted to vape. There are lots of choices out there, and everyone has their own favorite. The nice thing about a VV like the Twist is that you can try almost any of them.

I use dripping atomizers most of the time, but I also have Stardusts, Vivi Novas, and carto tanks all loaded up and ready to vape. Guess you could say that I like them all.

In my work van I got 110v with an inverter or I can use the cigatette lighter (ironic) with a usb charger so I can charge on the road, but I will probably feel better with 2 batts. Also would be nice for it to be able to hold 1.5 to 2 packs worth of cigs.

I really don't know much about the difference between atomizers, drip systems and such as far as how they would effect the flavor and vaping experience. Could anyone help with that also?

BTW my volt 70 mm seem to last me a long time and they are only like 350 mah or so. But I guess I am trying to take it easy on them since I don't know how long they would last normally. I use one and have the other batt freshly charged if I can.

At work I might drive 3,4,5 hours a day and when I get to a site I work around 2 hours or so. Don't know If that would help with recomendations or not.
    Thanks to everyone so far!!!!!!!
