I really haven't found any carto that hasn't tasted like an old cigarette end. They all seem to have a filler taste to me.

Take off the paper, caps, and ring. Boil them 2-3 times (changing water) for 5-10 minutes. Let them sit overnight, atty up. A lot of times they're better than the new ones because I've bought countless blu carts that start tasting bad or weird almost immediately.

As long as you don't burn them dry (as in singe the fibre) they are excellent for refilling. The atomizer itself has a lot longer life than you think. There isn't any taste left from the old carts at all.

I've even boiled out new ones when my tank broke b/c the closest shop that sold (mediocre) e-cig supplies was like 40 minutes away.
