Hi all, wondering if anyone knows about the different finishes of joytech ego c twists. I got two colors, black and pink.

The black twist has like a really soft silky finish. The pink one twist is just like a smooth slippery finish. Not sure how to describe it.

Is this normal for them to have different finishes? And would the white one have the same finish as the pink? I might order that for another as I don't really like the silky feel of the black. I read someone said they all have the silky finish except the silver one, and others say just the black. But someone said the white had it as well.

I have JoyeTechs. The matte blacks feel rubbery as mentioned above. The red one is smooth and changes colors in the light; from ruby red to almost black. I really like it, except that where is says "Twist" and the dot is, it's either clear or black. Whatever it is, you can barely see it.

Mine has what I believe is called the matte finish. actually it feels very secure like rubber. Might depend if your dealer is an authorized joye tech distributor.

Yeah I think rubber sounds right. But the finish something that just makes me feel a bit ick. Like its powdery. Or after i have just rubbed in a hand creams but hands still have that soft slightly slippery feel to them. hehe oh gosh I don't know.

I have black and pink as well. My black it matte too and the pink is an almost iridescent finish.

Cool thanks.

When I got my first twist in black it had the rubberized finish and I hated the feel of it. After awhile I have come to really like it, no fingerprints and it doesn't slip around. Guess it grows on you. Now I have three with that finish.

Thanks. I might give it a while. Hope I get used to it too. Even after putting it down, and typing now my hand that was holding it still feels ick from all the softness

Thanks. Red looks really cool. I wanted a purple but thought they only sold pink, white, black and silver.

I've only ever seen the satin finish in person. Never even seen a bare metal before anywhere but online.
Oh hope I got genuine.

I read somewhere that the "Matte White" finish is rubbery like the black, but now I can't find it, so don't take my word for it.
Yeah I read that too. I just would have assumed it would be like the pink. But I did also read that it was only the black that had that rubber finish. I will ask the vendor.

Hi Button, The Overlay is a good fix for your particular situation. I see no real problem that could arise from a film type of wrap on the battery, especially considering your hands would transmit more warmpth than the battery would generate on its own.

As far as the quesion on the white finish, Joyetech eGo-C Twist Battery , I am next to certain that the white has the same smooth iridescent finish as the pink. And as far as the Genuine question, look at the Joyetech logo on the bottom, in addition to the CE logo around the 510 crown, those two should help ease your mind as to their authenticity. Good Luck. Happy vaping.

Thanks so much for that.:) Found both logo on bottom and CE around crown. That picture of the white does look shiny beside the pink while black looks matt.

I'll give a stickers a go, the black is a bit boring anyway. Really need to do that or get another pink or white.

I can see how some would find it luxurious but to me, reminds me of touching paper or cotton with pruned hands from a long bath but not as bad. Though maybe not everyone hates that I just always assumed they did.

The vision spinner (ego twist clone) has a new purple one floating around. Not many places have it. Some vendors have the full range of Joye ego colors (more than just white, black, pink, stainless). I prefer the rubbery matte colors, the crome/silver (vision) one is a bit slippery for me and gets my fingerprints all over it (but it does look flashy!).
