I've been an on-and-off vaper for about 3 years and used m401s for the most part. I recently (2 weeks ago) got back into vaping and decided to order myself a ViVi Nova, a Kanger Protank with a few 2.2 ohm heads, an eGo-C Twist batt and a whole bunch of juices from different vendors (all 100% PG). Everything was going great up until a few days ago when i suddenly lost 95% of TH. I had a MONSTER throat hit before so I tried with both clearos. Changed the heads. Cleaned them. Changed them again and tried with different juices but still no throat hit so I'm guessing it's the batt. Fully charged it, drained it and charged it again... nothing. Been vaping between 3.7-4.1v and the charger seems to be working fine.

Now here's the kicker: vapor production has not diminished at all. Everything seems fine except for the throat hit. Everything has been cleaned according to the many tutorials here and on Youtube. I even tried the center pin fix and still nothing. Is it already dying after less than 2 weeks use? What am I missing? I'd really like this to work since e-cig tech has come a long way in the last two years and everything is way simpler nowadays. Thanks in advance! Great forum this is and an awesome source for info.

If you're still getting vapor production and the battery is firing, then it's something else. If you changed the coils on the clearos then perhaps they were of different ohms. I know the protank sometimes comes with two different ones - one 1.8 or 2.2 and then a higher ohm coil which would reduce heat and hence throat hit but not by 95%. Are you steeping the ejuices - perhaps too much??? Too much air can affect the nic content - the other factor besides heat that is responsible for throat hit.
