For me, its the vision thing. The first VV battery I bought was a Ego Twist, but I couldn't read the small numbers on the chrome wheel without getting up and putting it under a lamp. I still have the Ego and it works fine, but I now use two smoktek 1300 vv Winders because the setting numbers are printed on the battery and they are very easy to read. (The eyes are the first to go.....)

I just bought an eGo-C Twist...you're right about the markings on the wheel. I'm tempted to grab my vibra-pen and etch the lines better.

On a good note, I can finally enjoy the Honeydew flavor with out burning it, and the Sour Apple tastes much better, too.

I started with a 901, an 801, then it was a long long line of 5-6 volt mods with 510 attys. I must have gone thru 15 mods and still have 5 I need to sell. I just happened on an ego-twist/spinner, and that was that. Easy, easy easy. Get the right clearomizer or tank and it is right up there with the 5 volt vape. There seems to be so much less aggravation involved. And it's a nice size.

I really have been happy with my 1100 Twists. One, the pin drops. However, the numbers are way to small. Have to get my kid to set them.

I see there's a 1500 twist out there. May pick up a few of those too.

I've have two Vision 1300 spinners on their way. I bought one a while back and had to send it back. The charging light wasn't working. Hopefully, these two will be ok.

Love these for in the car or out running errands.

My bigger mods tend to stay home.

I'm on the ego-c batteries...... have four of em.... never run out of juice........ no matter how much I vape.....

and they're the ego-c upgrade model......... they some extra safety features I guess......

you can set them to do 3.3 volts all the time............ or set them to go 'au natural' starting at 3.7 v and winding down with use

I tried a 1000mah, but found it too long... and it wasn't the all day vape I was told it would be..... i'm ok with the 650 mah

my opinion is all........

Seems like almost evenone on here has something bad to say about and ego twist.. My ego-c t with a kanger 2 pro mini is a great vape...maybe its the crappy Ce4 or Ce5 that them chinesse put on the starter kits.....

If you are vaping happy right now don't worry about it. People always make it seem as if they are higher because they have a expensive mod... I vape on clones and old rusty stuff and I make $88 an hour. It don't hurt my feelings, what hurts theirs is my driving by in my $72000 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn Mega Cab with the 6.7 cummins diesel and tokin on a K100 with a Magma RDA!!!

And the ego puts out straight current with undeniable accuracy!

There's nothing wrong with them. I personally prefer the Vision Spinner because I have...well, poor Vision. :) The markings on the base are easier to see on the Spinner. I can manage the Twist, but it's an effort.

I have good vision and still have trouble seeing the eGo markings in good light. I think the Spinner also charges faster and lasts a bit longer as well, but that could just be a use pattern of mine.

I think the Spinner gives a terrific vape and I like the Itaste vv3 as well. Big advantage with the itaste is the pass-through capability which essentially lets me vape on a full battery all day. I just bought a second Vision Spinner though, and use those, and the itase as my work/play mods while I use the MVP at home.

One advantage of the Spinner or Twist to the Innokins I've found is that they take almost any topper, no problem. I need an ego threaded connector piece to vape an EVOD off the itaste vv, and only a few of my EVODs work on the MVP even after pin adjustments.

Also agree with the "knock off" twist warnings in here. I love Fasttech but the spinner I bought from them died in two months. My Joyetech Twist is still humming after 8 months.

hi there,
I've been having issues with my ego-c batteries by joytech.......... but i'm not going to go into that............

what I just found was that I am enjoying the fixed mode where the voltage is higher..... about 4 volts or something... and the battery dies when it can't produce 4 volts............ trust me, it's a lot better than starting someplace in the 3.4 volt range and starting to die a long diminishing death after that..........

i'm liking it so much i'm starting to consider a mod now......... never thought I would go there.......... but i'm close

have a good one,

g

I was on the twists for a long time, probably about 9 months. I probably had a few knockoffs but made sure my last few were genuine, which really didn't help with the issues.

Pros: Light, easy to carry in shirt pocket. Being able to dial-in the volts/amps whatever they are was a HUGE game-changer for me and changed my habit from sucking on a combination of Blu's and analogs to dropping the analogs completely.

Cons: Expensive, at $18 per battery, and always needing two in my stock at all times, I was finding myself replacing one at least every 30 days, sometimes more often than that. They broke a LOT. Not physically, but the electronics would go goofy, and it would do a number of odd things (each one had it's own demons), such as refuse to charge, crazy blinking patterns that nobody ever seemed to have seen before, connection to tank difficulties, impossible to read dials, twisters that were difficult to adjust, twisters that were so loose that they would just go min/max just from it being in my shirt pocket, etc..

I moved on to the Vamo, which I really do love, but after only 3 months, the center threads (using vivi nova 3.5 metal tanks) are all stripped out. I really hate the idea of going to kangar or evod simply because the unit can't support inside threads .. grrrrr. I've read here that it's a common problem. Ironically, I'm back on my last surviving ego twist from yester-year because of the annoyance of having to hold the damn tank onto the Vamo when I hit it.
