Bought one as my first foray into vaping yesterday. I have no experience to draw from, but the VV can really dial in exactly where you want it. One flavor I turn it up another flavor I dial it back. Been vaping like a boss for 12 hours now...lol.

I bought it all seperately. The Twist, 2 starburst cartos, 2 chargers, car adapter and 60ml of juice for $115.

Personally don't waste time on the tanks and atomizers (Ego T/Ego C) most people don't stick with those tanks for long. To me they make every juice taste like plastic.
I helped my cousin put together an order, he got 2 twist batts and a charger (USB) and he just uses his wall adapter from his iphone. And some vision clearomizers that run about $5/each.

Robbed? i dont know seems fair. twist is about $25-30, chargers about $15, car adapter $5, 60 ml juice $40 at least? cartos, tax, shipping

you can definitely find the items cheaper but you have to be careful if you order from china it can take weeks to get here. I say F it get it from a US supplier and spend the extra 5 here and there to have the convenience of one shipping cost and to have it all arrive together.
do you already know you dig the 60ml flavor

Exactly. It's bad enough paying as much for 2 Twists as you'd pay for a real, non-disposable VV with some actual battery capacity. No sense in adding insult to injury with a worthless tank system that you'll only scrap as soon as you get sick of the leaking the bad taste and all the other assorted drama.

$115 for a 2 Twist kit with juice and a couple clearos? Yeah, robbed is the right word.

$73 shipped for stainless steel Vtube, charger and 1600mah battery.
$8 shipped for 2250mah spare battery
$30 shipped for 2 Vivi Nova tanks with 6 atomizer heads
$30 shipped for 60ml juice
Included: One year warranty on Vtube
Included: Atomizer and drip tip
Total $141 for full voltage range, stainless steel VV, with LED display and that you won't need to throw away if a battery dies. Plus two re-coilable, rebuildable atomizer tanks and enough battery power for 36 continuous hours of vaping without a recharge.

And is there a website where I can get all three of those things?
Again apologize new to all this tried reading the stickies but it didn't help me much

I'll answer your 2nd question, why do you need 2? If you only have 1 what will you use to vape while it's on the charger? For all the hype, the Twist is only a 650 or 1000 battery and you will be charging it often. I had a pair of 650 Twists (gave them to my son) and they drain quickly especially at anything over 3.7 volts or so.

Many places carry everything, just look at the ECF vendor section and visit their websites...

So I think Ive decided on getting the ego C twist as my first PV. Problem is I'm not really sure where to buy it from I can't seem to find any starter kits for it. Any help please? Sorry if this is a stupid question

Hi..I know how you feel, wanted the same so I have finally placed my order with HEALTH CABIN, for my twist package..I believe this is what you need too.

1. 2# twist batteries ( i have chosen a 650mah and a 900 mah)
2. 2# tank atomisers ( both "type B"1 low resistance and 1 standard resistance, just to see which one suits me better)
3. 10# empty tank cartridges.
4. 10# silicon caps ( this necessary to prevent a possible leakage)
5. 1# mega charger

Total- 71.91$ + shipping(about 5$ the slow way"china air mail" )
All "joyetech" product.

Haha ok, when you put it THAT way robbed is the right word. But I don't know that someone brand new to vaping would decide (or know how) to make that purchase.

Why I meant is (s)he got a fair price for what was purchased. When you said "robbed" I didn't think that you meant the money could have been spent on a better product. I assumed you meant the prices were too high for what they were. I'm not saying the ego system is the be all end all. I'm only a month and a half in and want something different... But they are easy and imo perfect for your first six months. Theyre a good investment for an intro to vaping. Not everyone is comfortable with new technology/buying products above they're experience level. Thousands of mods, everyone insisting a different one is best, or telling people to buy provaris before they know if they even like vaping... I don't know I woul have been happy if my initial purchase was 100 for two ego twist batts and my clearomizers which is exactly what i recommended for my cousin. I personally get really overwhelmed and am doing a lot of research before my next buy. Maybe there should be a sticky in new members forum to halp new vapers avoid wasting money. Put together a guideline of suggested purchases for different budgets perhaps.
We spent $110 on a dumb super mini system! That bs'ed us with the RMA form so that we werent able to return. Then spend another $150 on two ego T starter kits. Used those atomizers for about 5 minutes. (this is for 2 people).
We could have had a provari and a half by now but all I have to show for it is 4 650 mah ego t batteries.

I started with an Ego C kit at 650mah
2 weeks later got a Twist 1000mah with Stardusts.
2 weeks later got a unbranded lavatube.

Yeah, I could have saved money going straight to the LT (and I think about that, believe me) but when I first started, I wasn't ready for it.

I needed to dip my toes in.
And it has worked for me.

No cigs for over a month!

Go with what you feel comfortable with and will keep you off the cigs.
Upgrade as you feel the need.
It'll be more expensive in the long run, but you'll be more comfortable and STAY OFF THE CIGS!

To answer the first. That would be either the cartomizer or attomizer depending on what you buy. I would start with a cartomizer. The boge tend to be the best type for starters. You just fill and go. No muss, no fuss. Or you could start with a startdust unit. It isn't too bad. A little more fiddle, but it will again do the job. If you want to go with a treat that has a fifty/fifty shot go with the Pheonix clearomizers. You can get them from gotvapes. The ones that I didn't have to rebuild were one word. WOW!

For the second question; you have one on the charger and keep on vaping with the second.

Third question. Just look around and get familiar with the internet on this topic. There are way too many sites to list that meet your criteria.

All websites prices differ according to what you want. If you want to be cost effective, you will probably place orders 2-3 places. If you want to piece together a ” Twist Kit”, I would suggest you buy batteries from mikeusa.com. He has the 650mah for $25 each-shipped. Go over to madvapes and order you a Ego/510 USB (420 mah) charger for $3.99, and some 2.5 ohm Vision clearos for $5 each. As far as juice, I'll leave that up to you and you're set!

Cylights,

I bought an eGo C Tybe B Twist kit from www.cignot.com for 79.95.

Contains:

two 65o maH batteries (one can ask for the 1000 maH for more money. I thought it was worth it.
5 tanks (which of course is also the tip)
5 rebuildable atomizers
Atomizer tube (I guess...you'll see in the instructions)
chargers (USB and AC)_
two tip protectors (condom-type)
carrying bag
manual

It's a great vape. Does require cleaning and maintenance.
