eGo-C user looking for better performance

I've been using the eGo-C with SR atties for over a month now and have mostly been quite satisfied with it. Lately though I find myself looking for more throat hit and the ability to chain vape for a couple of minutes at a time. I have no hardware other than the eGo-C kit I bought, so 2 eGo-C PV's. I have a half dozen juices I am using, 11 - 24 mg, from Madvapes. So far my faves are Coconut Chocolate Almond Bar, Candy Cane and Dekang 3 & 5. Have another order coming next week with a bunch of new flavors and more of the faves. I am also enjoying mixing some of the juices I already have.

I have some LR eGo-C atties coming that should be here early next week. I am also leaning towards a VV mod in the near future, probably the LT. If I understand correctly, my eGo-C tank system will be compatible with the LT with a connector in between. I like the convenience of the tank system - I don't see myself dripping, or using a system where I would only get a limited number of puffs between refills.

I want to look at a new tank(/carto) system. I know nothing about this from experience, just think I should be exploring it from what I've picked up from reading ECF. What should I explore first? It would be great to be able to do this starting with the eGo-C and then be able to take that experience and hardware to something like the LT. Is this possible? What do you suggest?

The next step for me after the eGo-C tank system was the eGo Vision Stardust clearomizers (CE4+), and I still use them on my eGo batteries. They deliver more flavor and vapor on the eGo batteries than the C atties, and they're easy to use. Get a couple @ 1.8-2.0Ω and a couple @ 2.1-2.4Ω and that should work with most of your juice. I've heard mixed reports about straight VG juice in these, but I've been using 50/50 blend with no problems so far.

Also, Joyetech just released a new VV battery called the eGo-C Twist, so you might want to look into those if you're looking for an affordable VV setup to start with.

The LR attys should help with the TH you are looking for. In terms of variable voltage, you might want to check out the new eGo-C Twist battery that offers adjustable voltage from 3.2v to 4.8v. There's an ECF thread about it here and there's also a youTube video about it by Cozzcon. The 650 mah version just became available last week with the larger 900 and 1000 mah versions probably coming in a few weeks. I got mine from Cignot and have been having fun the last few days trying different juice and atty combos at different voltages.

BuGlen, looking into the eGo Vision Stardust clearomizers on the net they sound great. I will definitely look into these!

BuGlen and Oneida, I knew about the Twist - should have mentioned that in my original post. I want one and will probably get one when I can which might take a bit of time because I live in Canada and the shipping charge from Cignot makes this about the same price as a LT for me, plus batteries and a charger of course. OTOH, I feel the need for backup hardware also and so the LT became a good direction for me to pursue. Good to hear that you are enjoying yours Oneida!

Toronnah, if you mean the eGo-C atties, I clean them about once a week, depending on the juice I am putting through them. Some juices need cleaning a lot more often I've found.

As was mentioned above, start looking at either end or both. VV batteries can be used with existing atomizers. Clearmizers and carbonizers can be used with existing batteries.

IMO, start with the top end. Clearmizers and cartomizers are a lot less money than a new VV battery.

I completely agree with Toronnah on this point. To go one step further, look into different resistance clearos/cartos/atties as well. Varying voltage is just one way to change the wattage (heat) being used to product the vapor and flavor, varying resistance is another.

Thanks BuGlen. I'm looking at getting a Twist when I can which will give me options for VV. I am also getting the LR atties for the C next week to see what that performs like. In the interest of giving me more options I am also looking into atty/carto/tank options for the C that I can learn from now and maybe take forward into the easily selectable VV/VW world.

If you're getting some stardusts, hold off on getting more atties. Once you try the stardust, I'm betting you won't use the atties anymore. I have a brand new 5 pack gathering dust so that was $20 wasted.

I got my ego-c kit a few months ago, and it was only a matter of weeks before i became annoyed and unsatisfied. i then switched to cartos. i started with the Boge LR cartos, which were great, they are pretty much universally popular. then i tried the Resurrectors, these I did not like as much. They burnt out insanely easily unless you keep them soaking wet all the time. one wrong move and they are cooked. i guess thats what happens though when you deal with ultra-low resistance.

Then I tried the Stardust as everyone here has mentioned. It seems to have gotten very popular very quick. I, personally, did not like them at all. i HATE the taste, and i did not get the vapor production that everyone else seems to get. maybe a i got a dud, who knows. all i knew was i wanted to move on from cartos and try something else.

then i started dripping. i havn't looked back. the flavor is unprecidented, and the vapor production is perfect. the only drawback is its not good for traveling.

My suggestion to you would be to pick up your Stardust and try it out, but don't limit yourself, just in case. also pick yourself up one of these along with a drip tip. See which you like better. Maybe you'll like both. I suppose in an ideal world you could drip when you are at home (and at work, if your situation allows), and you could use your stardust during travel/commute.
try everything, because i have found that even though something may be very popular to seemingly everyone else, you may not like it. tanks, cartos, dripping, whatever. try everything, and good luck.
