Ego C voltage and formaldehyde

I hope I'll be forgiven (and redirected) but with the recent claims about formaldehyde in higher voltage e-cigs, I am a little nervous since I have always used my ego-c's at 4.8 volts. I believe I'm using a 2.5 ohm heating coil. I only vape unflavored juice. I do, once in a while, get a dry nasty hit but generally it's smooth with a nice throat hit. Should I be worried/continue to use the higher 4.8 voltage?

Bottom coils reduce the chance of a dry hit unless you don't watch your eliquid levels.... Why I prefer the T3S clearos vs. the eVods/MT's that are harder to see.

That study of formaldehyde (not actual formaldehyde either) used smoking machines in a way that is impossible for any vaper to duplicate in terms of no. of puffs/time and they highest wattages with top coil clearos that no one would use. In another thread, someone likened it to lighting up the filter end of a cigarette, then continue to smoke it - ie something that no one would do.
