Goodmorning everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful morning. I am vaping away this morning on my ego carto with cappiccino flavor. 30%pg. The flavor is too sweet. Not caring for it too much. But I am getting my nic fix. But I digress. What I was wondering is: being a noob and as this is my first cartomizer, I hear a crackle sound once in a while. It only happens when I start to vape after not vaping for a few minutes. I dont get a burnt taste or any off taste ( except for the cappiccino sweetness---uggggggggggg) Is this normal with an ego cartomizer? Also I am sucking too much air. Is there a way I can adjust the air flow? Maybe I should try a 510 cartomizer?

Is there added sweetner to your juice? VG does add sweetness 'naturally', so I would expect 70% VG to be quite on the sweet side. I used to vape 50/50, and found that was too sweet for my taste too...so now I stay around 70/30-80/20 (PG/VG).

The crackling sound is normal....not sure why it does that, but I get that from ALL atty's!

the crackle that you hear (from what i have read) is the liquid that is "stuck" in the atomizer air holes. you can take the atomizer out, blow into it from both directions to clear it out and put it back on and you will hear no crackle...thing is, after a little while you will hear it again. to totally prevent this, you have to use ear plugs :)

Personally, I prefer to hear that crackle. That's one way I know that my PV is working.
Am I not supposed to let it crackle?
